Kakashi is viewed as overall better. It is also obvious that Taijutsu is week against a sharingan, I am not saying it wont be a good fight but i think Kakashi takes it with intelligence and timing.

This ain't normal taijutsu, if sasuke couldn't keep up woth nee normally, how do u expect kakashis sharigan to keep. Up wit huy while his using the gatez.

-It seems like everyone is only focusing on the power and stamina of both characters. In a fight you also have to count in the intelligence of the individuals. Kakashi easily outclasses Gai in sheer knowledge, which plays a big role in any battle. Kakashi will spot Gai's weakness and act on it to win. I'm not saying Kakashi wins easy because he doesn't Its extreme high difficulty.

-Plus saying Kakashi has low stamina is foolish. This whole war he has been lasting as long as Gai who is considered to have a lot of stamina himself.

-As far as we know Kakashi can open the first Gate but he can probably go further, but chooses not to.

-Plus if Kakashi wants to prolong the battle with Gai he can which in turn would make Gai exit using the gates or else he would have serious body damage. Kakashi is smart enough to win this fight.

Sasuke basically kept up with Raikage which is faster than gates. It is par with minato. so yea.

The only difference is the chakra level. It had itachi's abilities and knowledge. His mind was actually in the body at the time as well.
