Tobi's Real Identity (No really its different)
OK so people have been coming up with theories on Tobi's identity, some obviously making a better explanation of their theory than others but they usually tend to lean with characters like Obito Shisui Izuna and recently Kagami. So I wanted to come up with a theory which is credible and has evidences that are very convincing for the reader, while not being a copy and paste of Moby D^^K
heh here's my attempt at who I think Tobi is
My Unique Theory on Tobi
Okay so I've recently been giving serious attention to who I think Tobi is and I've been able to come up with his Identity. He is not The Sage of the six paths son nor is he Obito or Izuna in my perspective. I believe that he is an Uchiha with very similar core values to Madara Uchiha.
Now for the Background Info.
Firstly we know that the Uchiha were planning a coup because of the injustices that were bought to them because of the Senju. Now during the beginning of this feeling of taking an action against the Leaf Village (This feeling started during the Second Hokage's reign) there was a man who was trying and gaining support for the kindling of a rebellion. This Man was Setsuna Uchiha. ( Refer to Ch. 399 pg 14 for his image or look at NarutoPedia. I believe he is Tobi.
Now many things are instrumental to actually proving he is Tobi, firstly Setsuna lived during Nidaime's reign meaning that he would be aged closer to Danzo's year's. Now this explains the wrinkles on his face when he partially takes his mask off for sasuke, but there's more than just that. Tobi has a hairstyle equivelent to Setsuna Uchiha (maybe Setsuna's is a tad longer but who said he couldn't cut it.)
Studying the information Tobi gave us in ch.399 you could say that Setsuna had ideals that show that he was pissed off at the Senju like the real Madara who isn't dead yet at this point because Nagato isn't probably born yet at this stage.)
How about if the real Madara told Setsuna about his ambition to "become complete" via the moon eye plan, and Setsuna saw it as a better alternative than just a coup. But the thing is that Madara uses Setsuna as his substitute giving him access to Shodai's DNA which he had stolen during the battle at the Valley of the End which gives him the regeneration thing.
Now a very interesting tidbit is that "Setsuna" means Instant or Moment. Now I would say that Tobi (Setsuna) was gifted with the teleportation technique naturally only because we haven't seen Madara Uchiha performing it... Although it may have been a run down version of the technique like FTG Tech and Zetsu became the 'portal' or seal which is needed to re-enter the world as Zetsu said he was the land itself and I am paraphrasing.~Ch. 526 pg 6
To add to this the real Madara would go about and make all the necessary preparations for the fake to take over. He would meet with Kisame, give nagato his rinnegan meet with itachi once then let setsuna pose as the real Madara who dies but not without having his *substitute*. This explains how the masked man had long hair then short hair afterwards when he goes to fight minato.
Furthermore when Tobi fought Konan something that intrigued me was the fact that his other eye had a sharingan... Didn't he say that he used Izanagi against the first therefore permanently killing his sight in one eye. That first contradiction led me to believe that Tobi wasn't Madara (BTW doesn't that rule out Obito and Izuna since they were fully or partially blind?) ~Ch. 510 pg 8
Anyways this is my opinion on the matter and it provides for a convincing argument in my opinion (Anyhow I just wanted to break away from the traditional "Shisui Izuna Obito" Ideas)
