There are whiners and complainers in everything and most likely there always will be someone bitching and moaning about something or another. Closing the rp, or nb or anything won't push those whiners away hell they'll just have something else to whine/moan/bitch/complain/fret about. Is it seriously fair to the people who don't complain and who respect the mods and admin's decisions and thoughts? It would bother everyone who rp's and not just the whiners, and the complainers, and the wannabe mods. They know who they are and they know what they do, however again this won't stop them from doing it. It's how they act and you can't change how a person acts by punishing them. :sy:

Dont "deserve" RP. I hope you know that their are thousands of other RP sites, including Naruto sites to One Piece sites to completely other worldy based sites. If they cant come here they might as well join another one. Then what do you know NB lost half its active members...

And I dont know what your seeing but there have been a couple of complaining threads but nothing thats life or death. Nobody called you a noob, your just screaming random things out. This should be in the ChatterBox section or a PM/VM to mods/admins. If the RP system or people frustrate you this much dont interact with them :sy:

Okay so a lot of the members of the RP section of the site have been complaining about every little thing lately starting with how the system works to the mods and admins and now the new banners so my idea even thoe I'm a advide member in the RP section is to close it down this way the members who have been complain really have a chance to see what they got and can learn to stop complaining all the time the rp section iss for fun and in no way do any of us have a right to complain about it

You can negative rep me all you want I will stand behind my views because o who complains deserves to really have the fun and privillage of doing what the mods and admins really work hard on each and every day I know this will effect a lot more then the people who are complaining but think of it like the army if one person messes up everyone pays for it

I don't think this is a good suggestion for three reasons;
For one, people will always complain, whatever you do. Even if it only benefits them, people will complain about the smallest details of things. Closing the rp for a few days will not change anything.
Beside that, think about the people that don't complain about every single thing and just want to enjoy rp. If you close the rp for a while they will have no fun and get bored. I hate boredom.
Thereby, there will be a lot of spam asking what the hell is going on, and people that think since the rp section is closed they will have to fight somewhere else, thus you get a lot of unnecessary spam and misplaced threads. All in all it would not work that simply.

The problem is Mercy's and Xanthe's suggestions were actually plausible, yours is just straight up stupid.

I'm sure if Mercy didn't make that thread someone else would have done it.
