Okay, do realise that if you use an earthen dome to defend from the wind that it has to be very strong, considering both the techniques are quite strong. Also, the disadvantage from the dome could be that you cannot see where the wind, nor your opponent, is when you are behind it. You can use this disadvantage to your advantage, knowing that the opponent cannot see you either whilst behind the dome, meaning that you can perform a surprise attack by for example going underground and attack them. This could also help you out if the dome is not strong enough, you could go underground once the dome is created. When the dome gets destroyed the opponent will see you are not there, but they do not have enough time to realise you must be underground and defend themselves from your attack from underground in most cases.
Also, you could defend from these wind attacks using wind attacks from the same strength, but do consider if it is possible. The best way to defend from wind jutsus keeps being using fire, due to the elemental advantages of fire against wind, this would give you the advantage of probably creating a counter instead of only defence.
I hope you understood this all, I got a bit carried away creating defences xD
Understood Sensei
I admit I was struggling for a defence against the first jutsu as it is so strong and I didn't want to just go underground straight away as I could be easily finished from there
