Okay, so we all noticed that Guy and his team were out during the Pain invasion. Also, Shikamaru broke his leg. Kishi did this on purpose because he knew if Team Guy and Shikamaru were able to join the fight against Pain, the outcome would've been much different. Especially if it was Guy and Yamato there to help Kakashi, instead of Chouza. What do you think?

They would have a chance. But Nagato killed Hanzo, J-Man, and has NEVER LOST A FIGHT. He might still win this fight.

deva cant just go and use the big shinra tensei when ppl are trying to fight against him. the tech takes time not at all instant. if kakashi and gai were together against deva they would have won. while others can help with the other paths. ppl here underrate their team work u saw the teamwork choza+choji and kakashi were able to pull of right. with the likes of guy around they would have taken out deva. guy is very fast while he is in 6th or 7th gate so time limit is not a problem

Once Deva use Chibaku Tensei and the whole Konoha is fucked. I think only a few people would be smart enough to figure out Chibaku Tenseis weak spot and attack it with powerful Jutsus in order to destroy it. I think Pain would give Konoha a hard time even if Gai is there. For Gais Taijutsu based team Chikushodos Dog summoning would be the perfect way to hold them back.

It was not meaningless because he is the one who saw through Devas weakness and without that, Naruto would have been captured for sure.
Alone, Kakashi(without infos at the start) managed to outsmart Deva and Asura Path 2times:
- With the raiton kage bunshin. At that moment, Deva was not on his guard. I think he had good chances to kill him at that time if he wanted. Anyway for Asura Path it was almost over at that time since he could get him with the raikiri he had prepared.
- The second time is when he did made a plan with the help of Choza and Choji. There again he could have killed Deva.

That shows that he could have deal with them alone even without infos, so with infos before, he could make a better plan to win this. And don't forget he didn't even used kamui at that time. I don't see what Deva Path or Asura Path could do against that. And if Kakashi needs help he could get support from Gai and Tsunade(better support than Choza and Choji).

With infos, they will know before fighting what is the speciality of which Pain, and will make a good strategy to fight them.

Gai could deal with Gakido, and the one who revives other(who is the weakest Pain).

Tsunade could handle animal Path and the other one who takes souls.

That's why i think the 3of them could beat Pains if they have infos before.
I think you're the one who overestimate Pain or underrate Kakashi, Gai, and Tsunade.

Any of Kakashi's moves can be absorbed by Preta path, and Guy does not have the skill necessary to fight anything other than Preta or perhaps Human Path.

They have no counters to 95% of his moves. Kakashi had to be saved from just one path, and needed help fighting that one.

That means there are more possibilities to make 1vs1 or 1vs2 with them. It's not the configuration where they are fighting the 6 of them together like against SM Naruto. - Have you forgotten Kakashi has the sharingan?? The sharingan can see invisible things(like Obito managed to see the invisible man in "Kakashi gaiden"). He will see that chameleon easily.
- Katsuyu could deal with the dog that multiplies(cuz it can also multiply itself and it's immortal), when Tsunade can punch the other summons just with her strenght. She is the one i think she could deal with animal Path as well.

Why do you think if Kakashi sees Preta path absorbing his jutsus, he will continue to attack by distance? He will use taijutsu as well, and he is far better in taijutsu than Preta path if of course he is alone(and doesn't have share vision advantage). And Guy also can do the same or even better cuz he is a pure taijutsu fighter.

I even think that either Kakashi or Gai could solo this 2Paths. They are not that strong at all.

If they are not fighting Konoha, but are just fighting Guy and Kakashi and Tsunade, the paths would not be spread out all over the city. That makes no sense. Also I don't think you get it, the fights would be over quickly. Guy and Kakashi wouldn't last long enough to single out people.
