I've been watching Bleach quite a bit lately and reading the Manga but there's just something that's been driving me crazy.
Don't you think it's weird that the night Ichigo jumped into the river to try save the disguised Grand fisher he was able to survive.
For those who are confused what I mean is Ichigo was weak when he was young child while Grand fisher was a powerful hollow.
Also I've been wondering how did Masaki save Ichigo it's not like Masaki was the one leaking the spirit pressure so how did Masaki a supposedly human save Ichigo from Grand fisher it's not like Grand fisher would just leave the source of the spirit pressure untouched so how did Masaki fight off Grand fisher.
I have heard plenty of theories such as.
- Masaki being a Quincy and the brother of Ishida's dad.
- Masaki being Isshin's lieutenant.
- Masaki is secretly a member of the royal family and she escaped to the human world to be with Isshin who was the captain of the zero division.
- Masaki is still alive.
There are plenty of other theories but I decided to just put the top four down.
When you look into these theories they are extremely interesting.
The theory of Masaki being a Quincy would go with the final arc as it is heavily influenced by Quincies so I don't think it would be impossible also it would explain how Ishida's dad and Isshin know each other what we are also uncertain of is did Masaki know Isshin was a Shinigami if so it would also
explain how Masaki was able to see Grand fisher and defend it off.
However that leaves me to my next point if Masaki was a Quincy how was she not able to kill the Grand fisher, I know she was protecting Ichigo but still she must of been a reasonably powerful perhaps she lost her powers similar to how Ishida did. There are a lot of plot holes with this theory I know but we can't really rule it out.
I have also heard the story of Masaki being Isshin's lieutenant when he was a captain in soul society but then it would lead me to the one question, why would they leave?
Where they being threatened? Aizen did say he knew about Ichigo from the beginning what did he mean by that?
Also if this is true it would mean Isshin and Masaki are extremely old since none of the captains recognize Ichigo's last name which leads me to believe that is not Isshin's last name, this theory is also pretty flawed as one Shinigami would recognize them.
Another theory is Masaki is secretly a member of soul society's royal family and fell in love with Isshin who people have said was the captain of the zero division or the royal guard, even though it's not much apparently in a filler episode it's the one where Ichigo is a sleep and is Frankenstein people have said Isshin is seen wearing a cape with the number zero.
There would be a lot of questions as to why Isshin lost his power he did say he used the Final Getsuga Tenshou but why? was there a bigger plot did Masaki and Isshin lose their powers on purpose so they could be together I mean it would make sense as the Royal family would be the noblest family and they might not of accepted Isshin.
This would also mean Ichigo is a noble right? I mean Byakuya said that those from noble families usually have high spiritual pressure.
Maybe that was Kubo's way of hinting.
It would explain how Ichigo's spiritual pressure is higher than most as most Shinigami have been alive well over 100 years yet in under a year Ichigo was able to storm soul society with 10 days of training and beat Ikkaku, Renji and Kenpachi all strong Shinigami.
my next question is what made Ukitake look at Ichigo weirdly I know it was probably because he looked like Kaien but perhaps there was another reason.
Then being able to master Bankai in three days and stop that fire phoenix that held the power of a million Zanpakto's with just one.
All I can say is Ichigo is connected to the royal family but how is something we will have to find out.
Back to Isshin and Masaki I am uncertain about Masaki but Isshin seems to know Uruhara and Yourichi they both seem to care about Ichigo quite a bit so what is their relationship with his parents I don't think it's all a coincidence that Isshin, Yourichi and Uruhara all former captains decided to settle in Karakura town which also seems to be the place to make the royal key which links us back to the royal family, perhaps Aizen was wrong and it wasn't exactly Karakura town he needed maybe it was something else.
Anyway Uruhara knows Isshin and by Uruhara's expression when the two are talking when Isshin beats Grand fisher he seems to know her perhaps it was hi who provided both Isshin and Masaki Gigai so they could hide from soul society.
Perhaps I'm wrong and it's the other way round and Isshin is the member of the royal family.
I like this theory probably the most it would answer a lot of questions however the plot holes are can Gigai get pregnant and if Aizen knew about Ichigo how did the royal family not.
Now the last theory I have heard is that Masaki is still alive and apparently the Grand fisher attack was set up, and who ever set it up gave everyone the slip by providing a fake body.
This would be something Kubo would do especially with this new arc perhaps Masaki is under one of the cloaks the Vanderiech are using and being controlled or threatened.
This would be major trolling by Kubo but it would still be interesting to watch maybe Kubo has been setting Ichigo up from the very beginning so he would meet his mother alive again.
