It seems you guys really can't be pleased with Naruto mangas.. (I predict many flames against me but that's ok)
First it was the war which is totally bad although we saw many characters fighting, showing various new ninjutsu, new backgrounds and connectings e.g. to the SOT6P, but no that's boring and bad, because fights like Mifune vs. Hanzo only lasted 3 chapters. THIS IS WAR. It's a fact that in war there is quantity of fights over quality, Kishi had no other choise. I admit I was curious to see some badass-ninjutsu of Hanzo, but it didn't happen because the author decides it, PERIOD.
Then it was Kinkaku and Ginkaku, Gaara vs. Mizukage etc. fights over fights, with no ("annoying") flashbacks just fighting. But just fighting didn't please you, because that doesn't fit to Masashi Kishimoto who elaborated single character with background infos etc. in the "good old Naruto".
So now it's Kabuto.
Sage Mode came from nothing, okay, but for people who already start reading the new manga with a strange mood can't be really surprised about this. For other people it's a sudden shock and they like it. I mean, when Susano'o appeared the first time there was also no hint of that, and people didn't complain "oh man, another MS technique? Can't Itachi just die?"...
Now we see some background information from one of the VILLAINS and you're still not pleased. Since when was a major character beaten without some deeper informations to understand his actions? That's a typical decive of Kishi in Naruto, so why complain? I personally was eager to know how Kabuto lived, because I somehow liked this character.
Seriously, people you can decide what you like and in what extent, but I notice partly Naruto "haters" here and I can't understand this because it's contradicting.
Peace
