Havent you caught on by now that all Sharingan and MS techniqies are based on shinto gods. I was actually waiting on one to be named after izanagi's wife izanami. There are already three named after his children and itachi's sword is named after his too.
ACcording to naruto wiki, u lose the eye. It must have been said somewhere, I don't know. I don't know how accurate naruto wiki is however.
I think for izanagi it seals you eye, which means tht u won't be able to use it, even if u are an edo.Wow.
So, if Kabuto is now resorting to talk no jutsu about how he is the same as Sasuke (then, when it didn't work, he claimed to be the same as Itachi,

And, the reason why Itachi was so calm all the time, is clear now: a new jutsu on the level of Izanami.That's why he one of my favourite characters, and favourite Uchiha, always like a boss :scorps:

I just wonder, if using Izanagi and Izanami cost makes you blind, how does it work for an edo? Since edos recompose again if taking damage.
Other thing is that Kishi is pulling a lot of flashbacks outta nowhere lately. I just wonder, what else happened off panels that we don't know about?
PS: People, you don't need Senju dna to use Izanagi. It only lengthens the time you can use it to a minute. It must be the same with Izanami.
And why so much surprise about this Izanami? Uchiha seem to have a habit to name their techniques after gods of Japanese mythology. Izanami was the wife of god Izanagi. So it makes sense the techniques would also be in pair.
Exactly. Talking is needed to a certain extent in order to know what is going on, but when the entire manga is filled nothing but talking during a battle, it becomes quite excessive and the manga begins to become boring. Especially since the manga only comes out once a week, we need excitement.
I know, all Kabuto is doing in this battle is try to tear Itachi and Sasuke apart, and make Sasuke join him. That tactic is getting old and there is hardly any action to make things interesting.

My post was meant to enlighten those people who think that you have to have Senju DNA to use Izanagi. I also explained why you would need Senju DNA, it makes Izanagi more powerful.
I can't be sure at this point. I think that there's a good chance both will be genjutsu. It just depends on what Itachi can 'create' within his mind to make real with Izanami. I don't think he will have to use Izanagi at all, but we will see.
