Madara know hashi could win in every way, thats why he wanted his DNA. He knows he didnt stand a chance no matter how powerful we think he would be. But he sure know he's no match. but i found it greedy -_- well done hashi, to march him, they chose to stole his DNA to make up experience to reach his level, Thats how i see

And funny part didnt madara emplant his brother eyes to his? Its even more **** up they beated him with upgrade sharingan. that prove how strong hashi is. No wonder why kishi made kabuto stated ppl believe his strength as a fairy tail. We need more info about him during this war, im sure more are coming

someone stated, no the manga stated dey match im just telling you they aren't!! hashi beat him the on their own fight! that mean madara no longer a march!! and either way even if madara has sharingan or 9 tails they were useless against hashi because hashi won in the end of their fight, no matter how you see it, hashi was stronger then both of them thats why he bring both down! Accept it!

It's kinda hard to burn down an entire forest with just fire you know.... and who knows, the 1st could've put chakra in the wood to make it even stronger so it could defend against madara's fire.

Now about the nine-tails, I honestly don't know... I guess, since the nine-tails is so massive, it was a threat to madara as well because they were fighting. Since, Hashirama could block tailed-beast bomb with his strongest wood style, it would make sense for him to beat the nine-tails with his wood style. Even the nine-tails wasn't strong enough to break through hashirama's wood style is my theory.

About susanoo, it's not hard to penetrate, madara said hashirama's wood style was stronger than tsunade's punch and since she almost broke susanoo, it would be fair to say that Hashirama used his wood style to destroy susanoo... it's not like madara was able to protect his susanoo with amaterasu like sasuke did in the 5 kage summit meeting....

I mean, don't get me wrong, I am not supporting the Shodaime TROLL. But, Amaterasu isn't as godlike as people make it out to be, it still functions as the MS's ocular jutsu do. Obscure their vision, and they can't land it effectively. The use of Mokuton Bunshin helped him as well I would assume.

You're probably right, but where did Madara say this? Only reference to Tsunade's strength that I've been able to find was in the latest chapter, he said she's slower than the Raikage, but faster than him. I would no doubt assume he simply pulled Madara out of his Susano'o just like Gaara did.

You all have interesting points but at the end of the day the only thing that will prove why Hashirama won would be Kishi if he decides to finally release the fight! Then we will know the truth once and for all.

Hashirama was said to be insanely powerful, his wood release could be burned, but this is a bit beyond the point, as he would of most likely used his mokuton as a defense, like Yamato, and as long as this withstands the initial blast it does its job, and when using it offensively the aim (I believe) is to either restrict movement, (no chance for hand seals) or things like flower world (real name escapes me) in which its effect would not be stopped by fire. As well as just mokuton, Hasirama also used water (water+ground = wood) so he probably would have been able to counter Madara's firejutsu. Along with all these his supreme healing abilities and huge chakra pool may of helped. This is all I can say, as we have not actually seen him fight

And as someone else has already said. Hashirama has water, so that counters Madara's fire.

About all the rest though on how Madara lost. No one knows except Kishi. Both of them have hax abilities.

Have you been seeing manga's? It was said that all sharingan users know how to use fire release ninjustus....
