it was said it was impossible for naruto to do many things and he has done them like graduate from the academy, beat neji, gaara, master the rasengan, the frs and know he will do it again use Sage Mode on his own.

i think your being overly optimistic with konohamaru as ye naruto beat neji an gaara at hiw age but neji an gaara at tht age were in a completely ifferent level to pain they were considered strong but no way similar to current fight also i think naruto should learn space-time jutsu and tai-jutsu would be helpful for his fighting style

You know Naruto having some tai-jutsu would be awsome. Right now he either swings like a drunk or hits them with a rasangen. He's never really been good at it, but he'll need to learn it sooner or later. I want to see what Pa toad taught him. The frog tai-jutsu or whatever it's called is gonna be neat to see.

Konohomaru is not Naruto. Even though he is the third's son, he won't be summoning Enma the monkey god. First, he would have to sign a blood contract. Second, he would actually have the chakra amount and control to summon him, which at his stage is almost impossible. Summonings at that level are Hokage level jutsu. Naruto could do it because of his immense chakra pool with the Kyuubi, and let's not forget who taught him, Jiraiya.

I think Konohomaru idolizes Naruto and wants to be like him, but Naruto had the Kyuubi to back him up and protect him, which Konohomaru doesn't. Bottom line, he's not ready, and he's probably going to get Ebisu killed.

Kishi seems to be stalling regarding Naruto's fusion training, or maybe it's the only way to cover multiple events simultaneously. If Naruto can fight in sage mode by himself, that's great, but I miss the combination jutsu that Jiraiya performed with pa and ma toad.

I was just watching Naruto Episode 184 as a lucky dip and the theme song made me think... Ahhh Naruto is meant to rebuild the leaf village... he will be a phoenix that will rise from the ashes and in force the will of fire to all that betrayed it and tired to destroy it...

To me Pain already seems weak. one of his bodies is already dead, one of the bodies is about to be killed(the one that sucks out your souls which apparently only works by touching you and it only works if you are like lieing or something) the secrets of pain are about to be revealed, and every single body is seperated so they can't rely on their combined abilities to create super combos.

to me Pain seems aragant, and doomed to failure.

Yea but don't forget that it not really him. He just leveled a village while he sat around in the saftey of his own village. We haven't seen Nagato himself fight when he could acutally get hurt. Pein could always send more bodies if some get killed.

yes maybe but by then, pains secret will have been perfectly discovered, naruto will be a genius in power and skills. etc etc, and pain will no longer be a match(that is if nagato really is the person behind the curtains which is likely but not proven) and also who's to say that once pain is defeated nagato will magically appear(summoned) cause all the bodies are dead, or maybe his life depends on at least one of the bodies to be alive

I liked this chapter. It drives me a bit mad when people complain there is no action, they are the same ones that complain when a battle lasts the whole chapter (like the Itachi-Sasuke one). I liked learning that people already have a very good opinion about Naruto, that he needn’t be a Hokage in order to be respected.

No Sakura and no Kakashi, but something caught my eye: Ino seems to be pretty helpful.

She’s as strong as Sakura (as she was her pupil), she can help her father with their secret technique, plus we can see her with one of her slugs at the end of this page. Which means that Sakura can also summon the slugs.

Does anyone here believe we are shown how Konohamaru tries to fight against Pain… in order to become Naruto’s rival in the path of becoming the Hokage in the long run?

We know that Konohamaru can make at least two clones at a time. Why? Because he’s able to make double sexy jutsus! (both boys and girls). And we have not seen any other than he and Naruto make more than 1 clone/transformed clone at the same time. The Konohamaru who shouts at Pain may be a clone.

I was hoping that the fox would be the "still" part of his sage mode. That has to be the answer to Naruto's problem. Other then that, this chapter showed that Naruto completed his goal without becoming Hokage. These people believe in him and many are dying for him. If Naruto could hear those thoughts he'd be cheesin from now til next Monday..........

Me too. I still think he's gonna arrive to the conclusion that he needs to work with the kyubbi, and ask it to remain "still" as he fights, or even the other way round! If necessary, Naruto will remain still as kyubi is released.

actually kage bunshin is used very much by every powerfull shinobi , it's just that no one can us it to it's full potential like naruto does because it needs a lot of chakra , and if you rebember back from the start narutop learned kage bunshin directly from the hokage's scroll of the most powerfull ninjutsus , so while all shinobi were thought in the academy about kage bunshin , naruto learned directly from the scroll , and with his enormous chakra , and stamina , naruto is probably the only one to use it at such a high level. ...

I agree with almost all of this. (the only thing I don't agree with is that you said it was taught to acadamy students) acadamy students have to preform any type of clone, not necissarily "shadow" clone technique, for example there is shino's bug clone, akimaru's dog clone thing, gaaras sand clone.

also even if they use the "shadow" clone jutsu, they still don't know the "multi shadow" clone jutsu.

Kage bushin is the secret technique of kages, thus the name. ?ther people make shadow clones that are illusions, not actual bodies, whereas Naruto makes real bodies. Only people with access to the scroll or to someone who’s read it can make real clones.

Akimaru’s dog does not make clones, just transforms into a copy of Akrimaru, that’s why it is a real body.

...Oh, and after tearing the village apart, don't you think that Pain would notice that NARUTO ISN'T THERE!? If I walk into a room and someone isn't there, I don't ask the people in the room "Hey, is so-and-so here or somewhere else?" Wouldn't a better question be "Where is he?"

Pain knows Naruto isn't there, he's trying to read people's minds to learn where he is and go and get him wherever he is.

I agree that some other shinobi can do kage bushin, but the dog is not a clone, it is a transformation. In Naruto, clones are a multiplication of yourself made by yourself, not by another character (in this case, the dog). In chapter 1 when Sakura transforms into Iruka, they do not call it a clone.

[Big Jutsu]

i am kinda sick of all the people complaing that not enough happened in each episode. if you go back and look at the manga one chapter at a time... nothing really happens!! you have to take each chapter as a piece falling into place. when you do that, and when you look at the big picture, each one is important. so just chill out poeple and let the man do his job whcih is making a kick ass story!

imo, kyuubi will give naruto a hand again maybe during his fight with pain or to fullfill the complete sage mode transformation. konohomaru has improved, i think he hit pain with his kunai or weapon? and i think he just save ebisu at that moment. is he that quick now and pain couldn't dodge it? just a thought. tnx
