I liked this chapter but I was disappointed with the lack of... well... anything. I liked that we got an idea of how the village feels about Naruto but... where's the action? Where's the developments? Wasn't there supposed to be a secret or something?

Anyways.... I'm thinking Kono knows something new. Kishi wouldn't throw him out there just to show us the kid is stubborn. Nah, Kishi is gonna pull a fast one on us and Kono is gonna surprise the crap out of some of you nay-sayers.

Oh, and after tearing the village apart, don't you think that Pain would notice that NARUTO ISN'T THERE!? If I walk into a room and someone isn't there, I don't ask the people in the room "Hey, is so-and-so here or somewhere else?" Wouldn't a better question be "Where is he?"

Shoot, also as far as predictions go:

Kakashi isn't actually dead. He's talking to his dad and Kakashi seemed surprised to see him there. He's also setting it up by saying "Tell me about yourself" because White Fang is going to tell him that dying like this isn't like him.

Naruto is going to have to convince the Kyuubi to stay still for him or envelop him in a shield while he goes sage mode. It'd be cool to see him go sage while on the move but I believe he won't.

Ebisu is going to die.

Choji is going to catch up to Ino, her dad, and Shizune and tell them what Kakashi sent him to do (he's either taking his good old time or the past 3 mangas have happened in only a few minutes.)

Tsunade is going to be killed by either Pain or Danzou.

i think that konoha will just barely avoid destruction and in the rubble of konoha almost all of the shinobi are dead or very injured and then sasuke will come back and since of what happened there are barely any ninja to fight so hawk is tearing up the place when naruto ( just pretend i told u naruto learned how to do sag mode while moving lol) comes back and shikamaru takes on sharky dude (watever his name is) and sakura woohps karin and... lets see uh negi fight the dude who goes on killing rages (im being forgetful today) and of course naruto fights...BOBO-BO-BO-BO-BOBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no he fights sasuke. :naruto: vs :sasuke:

i know what u mean but believe me when the naruto-pain fight beginns read the manga again beginning at the chapter pain arrived and it will all make sense !!!

whatever... I don't like how konohamaru is the topic now. I mean he is just to weak to beat that guy, who was about to kill his sensei. even if he would gather all the chakra he has he would just get wripped of the ground by pein.

Kishi should rather show how naruto is talking to the 9 tails so that they both realize that they depend on eachother and from now on respect eachother and help eachother.

it would be awesome to see the Kyuubi and naruto working together. They would just beat the crap out of any enemy there is.
especially if the fox would lend naruto his knowlege and chakra :naruto: :headband:

Hopefully the next manga turns out to be better than this one.
But there is still the shippuuden special next week and I am definetly looking forward to seeing Rasengan shuriken in colour.

2-Kakashi's life/death situation
3-konohamaru fight with Pein
4-Ino and her dad's interrigation
5-Danzou and his plot
6-Now shuzinue's and the torture dude (can't remember name at the moment) are going to stall the Animal Pein's summons.
Lol it's a bit much for one manga, Kishi will make our heads explode.

I think this chapter is great...
Konohamaru-kun (or or Ebisu-sensei) have the flashback of Naruto, how Naruto has the big role of saving everyone...I think this is the chance of Neji, gaara, and everyone he already saved come to the rescue of Konoha...

Konohamaru will be defeating this Pain, Im sure of it. Remember young Naruto can defeat Gaara with Shukaku Mode On? Remember he can defeat Neji? Everything is posible here, you know.

i think your being overly optimistic with konohamaru as ye naruto beat neji an gaara at hiw age but neji an gaara at tht age were in a completely ifferent level to pain they were considered strong but no way similar to current fight also i think naruto should learn space-time jutsu and tai-jutsu would be helpful for his fighting style

While those are some decent points, after the past few weeks, I would think that there would have been more progress on some of the story lines. All we've seen the past couple of weeks is another low level character in the story being killed. No progression on Naruto's training, no understading of Pain's secret or how to defeat him, no update on Kakashi, where is Sauske & Madera? Where are the Cloud ninjas? Where is the 8-tails? Where's Danzo? Konahamaru was supposed to know some "big secret" at the end of the last manga and he has nothing....Instead of the boring stuff we've seen so far, he could advance one of these story lines.
