I agree!! Minato or the 4th Hokage is one of the greatest ninja ever and the coolest too. He is a genius even at a young age, mastered FTG, created Rasengan, and we only saw a bit of his power! He definitely has a lot of power! Cmon, even Gamabunta respects him more than Jiraya! We didn't see all of his powers yet. And people who say hashirama, just stop! He beat madara okay, we know! Until we see more of him, I say Minato is still the strongest kage in the leaf until naruto becomes one anyway. Of course, Naruto won't ever become as smart but in other things, definitely! 
Whoever said minato wasn't a genius but only "smart" in a previous post, you have got to be kidding me. He wasn't a genius? It was specifically stated that he was a genius, one that only comes around once in a long time. I forgot who said this but it was definitely stated, maybe by multiple people. He's not a genius...pssh, craziest thing I have ever heard.

Many people get confused with the two sons of the sage of the six path. The reason why I said many people confuse naruto being descendant of the younger son of the sage of the six path it's because there is sasuke and tobi said that for many generation there has been a rival between the two brothers and that rivalry continues and the proof is naruto and sasuke. That they have been chosen by fate to be rivals.
But I hate to believe in this since naruto is the only one who managed to erase the hatred of the nine tail demon fox and the other tail demon.
The sage of the six path spoke of his successor that will take good care of the tailed beasts before he died and separated the tailed beast. For this reason I believe is the successor of the sage of the six path and not a descendant of the younger son of the sage of the six path.
The first hokage "who is related to the younger son of the sage of the six path" only separated the tailed beast more and raise their hatred towards the people. Harishima used the tailed beasts as tools to balance the power between villages. Harishima thought of the tailed beasts as weapons of war and nothing more.
He wasn't able to control the nine tail demon fox, he was only able to suppress it. He only created more chaos than fix it.
Naruto is the real deal. He is a complete successor of the sage of the six path. He is not a descendant of the younger son of the sage of the six path.
Yes, naruto will become greatest but only when he gets complete control of everything he can do.
He doesn't have complete control of the BM - Nine tail demon fox said it
He doesn't know Minato's FTG yet - Tsunade is saving the technique for naruto.
He doesn't have complete control of the speed he has yet
In a way naruto is greater than harishima atm

wen did she say that???? i think kishi is going to leave ftg unique to minato since thats what makes him special. i could see naruto MAYBE needing to learn it before he got control of the fox but there is no need for him to learn it now.he has enuff speed he's extremly powerful and he can already be in a million places at once lol wouldnt be fair if he had that on top of EVERYTHING else he already has and we can agree that he has ALOT!!

The anime butchered the manga, so I wouldn't even use the anime to draw that conclusion. As well, he died way too young to become the greatest. Insane potential though.

as others have said one of the greatest his raw speed with ftg makes him nearly impossible to beat i believe only rinnegan users and BM naruto would beat him

This is the manga section not anime. The manga already showed even more of his personality. Yeah he was one of the greatest shinobies but it`s not a contest to be won by any single of them forever.
Secondly there are already many threads for and against Minato. Each random statements don`t deseve a thread of its own in such a scenario.
