After watching 248 and especially 249, you can really learn a lot about his character. Not only was he an excellent ninja and thinker, he also had a really caring and loyal personality about him.
Minato really was the greatest ninja ever.

you putting jiraiya itachi and anime naruto in their, and saying that they are also in the class of greatest? no sorry. Minato outpasses them all in the anime

Since when does he outclass, Naruto SM-KM-BM, Jiraiya SM, Oonoki dust release, Itachi - Genjutsu and Susano, Hiruzen was said to be the strongest shinobi ever also over minato.
So no minato does not outclass all of them

i respect your opinion and i like minato alot but there were other great shinobi that sacrificed their lives for the village also. but i will say he is 1 of the greatest. if there was a shinobi hall of fame he would be a first ballot hall of famer lol

Naruto looks to accomplish what His Father Minato could not, stop Tobi completely Minato is one of the greatest out their but the greatest seems to be reserved at this time for Naruto.

One of the greatest certainly, Better than most of them even Kages. But still Minato against, 1st and 3rd hokage, Madara, and somewhat Itachi, is interseting matchup. With these guys out there, he cant be the greatest.

I wish people would stop putting Hiruzen in the same league as Minato .... Hiruzen was known for all the jutsu he knew .... hence why if he called the god of shinobi not because he's the greatest.... I personally think it speaks for itself when i say minato is much better .... Kakashi said to Naruto " Your the only shinobi that will surpass the FOUTH HOKAGE" I don't remember him saying you will be the only one to surpass him along with the other 40 ninja !!! Minato died at such a young age he could have became a much stronger ninja over time, Yet he was still amazing!! Yes, I'm a fan of minato witch is why tent to take more of an interest to this... but the facts speak for it's self really!!

Power alone doesn't define a victory in a battle field. You need intelligence and minato's power is far greater than any power. The ability to be able to teleport away from massive attacks and redirecting them to wherever he pleases, it's extremely good. Maybe Itachi can stand up to him since itachi is also a person who utilizes his head more than his powers.
Once Minato marks you, there is no way you can scape from it. You will be hit before you even realize you have been hit.
The only reason Tobi was able to survive minato's attack was because there is a special way to kill him. Tobis is somewhat similar to sasori. In order to kill sasori, his bag of heart had to be hit. Tobi probably has a small point in his body that is sensible and if you hit him in that certain part of his body he will die.
Furthermore, Minato has a lot of chakra. In order to teleport the nine tail demon fox (full version), he had to used up as much chakra as the nine tail demon.

you need to be :flaw: , itachi cant beat minato neither could oonoki or jiraiya, and everybody else its debatable and that's nothing is certain . He is one of the greatest , didnt at one point in the anime they said that he was greatest hokage of da 4
