Also Macs are awesome anybody says differently can go F.T.S.Just because you have a strong receive signal, doesn't mean you have a strong transmit signal. And depending on your wireless modem, if it runs at 802.11b/g at 2.4 Ghz, then that's best effort. And is susceptible to RFI, Radio Frequency Interference (microwaves, vacuums, walls with cable and power running through them).
Irrelevant..Your Modem/Router is smart bro. It is showing you that you have a full signal but in reality you don't. This is because your modem/router dislikes the fact that you're using a mac.
