Looks like all the characters we had in Ninja storm 1 and 2 will stay exactly the same, whereas all the new additions have much nicer looking moves.

A's ultimate looks really epic, the ultimates in storm 2 kinda sucked....unhappy face

Why wouldn't you want to play as Shizune? I mean come on poison fog, why wouldn't you want to do that 100 times in a battle...I guess you basically do it already with Karin's hairspray attack...scratch that...Why would anyone want to play as Shizune?

It's not that fans actually want to play as Shizune (maybe some do). It's the fact that she has been absent from all storm games as a playable character, so it's kind of saddening to see her passed up again as a playable character, even though many people may not play as her.

Truthfully she never did enough to warrant being added as a playable character. We've seen her use Poison fog and shoot some needles from her wrist that's it for fighting. That shouldn't warrant a playable character...this is also the reason we all get so peeved over Karin who did nothing in terms of fighting being a playable character. She shouldn't even be a support character unless the game added healing as a support skill.

Shizune would be a cool addition. In the PS2 games, she's been proven to be adaptable to be playing, just like Kurenai and the Sound 4. In these games, all they care about is the latest Naruto and Sasuke. They're cool and needed, but not if they take up character slots.

The new character in this game will be amazing,I've seen some vids which show how good they are.
The old characters have had some improvements and I already know that there are new ultimates for Minato and Naruto and a few others. So maybe multiple jutsu's like in ninja storm.
Seems like some of the old characters like Gaara have had 0% changes and are just recycled...shame

There are just a bunch of different Naruto's. The Naruto who has the new ultimate is also the Naruto that has the Kyuubi Mode Transformation, if you watch the promo video there is a Naruto with a different fighting style...they are all one in the same. There is still the old Part 2 Naruto with the same move set transformations and ultimate jutsu from the last game as well.

It's tough for characters like Gaara because he hasn't been seen until recently in the war (which won't be in the game), the only move he's shown since the beginning of part two, that even has a chance of being included in the game, is the attack he used when Darui and his siblings attacked Sasuke.

Well it was honestly enough to warrant her as a playable character in the Ultimate Ninja series on the PS2, which is by far better than the Storm series (in my opinion). Shizune can probably incorporate her needles into her combos/tilts, or she can use Tonton in some of her combos. A grab could easily be using her chakra scapel, a jutsu would be her poison fog, and her ultimate can be some kind of glorified poison fog/chakra scapel finisher. Her awakening can either be some kind of healing mode (which they probably wouldn't allow) or some kind of chakra scapel thing that Kabuto does, with Tonton assisting her more in her combos. She's done more fighting than Karin, who hasn't done anything at all in terms of combat, and Shizune's inclusion in the old Ultimate Ninja games proves that she can be made a playable character in Generations.

That's what I don't like, why do we need all these Naruto and Sasukes. They didn't even need to make a different Naruto (Shippuden), all they could have done was just simply modify the existing Naruto, and allow the player to change his ultimates (like in Storm 2, where you could shift between The Nine Tails Rasengan and Rasenshuriken) and awakenings, so that way players could choose to have Naruto awake as either the 4 tails or Kyuubi Chakra Mode.

I personally never was much of a fan of 2D fighting games. I didn't really like the Ultimate Ninja series on PS2, plus it was weird that you could use other people's ninjutsu. Shizune certainly belongs in the game as a playable character more than Karin without a doubt.

I also didn't have any buddies to play against. At the time most of those games came out I didn't know anything about Naruto and I was playing the PS2 DBZ game series a lot.

Seems not. Best hope at the moment is that they allow you to start the game as a transformed character like you could in the first Storm.
