My thoughts exactly. Hopefully this little "story mode" thing with Sasuke, Pain and Tobi is worth it to be honest. Also hopefully it will be an actual serious Tobi and not just an awakened Tobi. However, some people seem to think that there will be separate Tobis (One Goofy and the other serious) as the character art in the icon, is different from this supposedly "serious Tobi" as shown in the scan as opposed to the Goofy Tobi. Also in Storm 2, it's good to note that when Tobi went into his awakening the character art in the icon remained the same, while the one in Generations differs in that aspect. Also I hope that we are playing as the "new Naruto" and not just the same one from Storm 2. And I hope that Pain has an updated moveset as well, to make this demo a bit more interesting.

Yeah if it doesn't have the things you just mentioned like the new Naruto it will be sucky. If there isn't a serious Tobi the game will be an absolute travesty in my mind. You can justify nearly anything else to me, but to not have the serious Tobi considering he just ignited the war and fought a bit against Fu and Torune, Konan, and Minato it would be absolutely ludicrous. I don't care about the goofy Tobi and his significance to the game is limited since he never did anything of meaning.

I just hope this demo isn't just Storm 2 with Generations game enhancements.

beast mode? is it the same thing as awakening? or does it eneter the mode auto as soon as you reach low life

Maybe Beast Mode is a weakened form of awakening.

Naruto:9-tails cloak,constant chakra regenration,less damage

Sasuke:Level 1 susanoo,only ribs,Damage reduction.

Killer b:Version1 8-tails,less damage

A: Lightning armour Version 1,increased speed

Kakashi: Sharingan,will copy the oppenents jutsu but it's power will be halved.

Young Gaara: Half shukaku form

So basically the demo is going to suck and we'll only be playing as characters from Storm 2...That's a major disappointment I was hoping for at least 1 new character like A to play as.

You're right it certainly lists it as a new addition, but also says it's the same as awakening. Hope it's just a mistake and it doesn't turn into an automatic last second transformation.

Why has nobody talked about this?

I hate Tsunade and Sakura, and they are slow, and they're moves are simple to dodge, unless they are put in with support where you can't see them in the clutter. And even then you are pretty much guaranteed to dodge them.

I think Tsunade and Sakura's speeds are accurate to the manga, that would be the reason why I haven't mentioned them.

Xbox 360 owners, Namco Bandai Games Japan has revealed the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations demo will only be for the PS3. That doesn’t rule out a Xbox 360 demo for North American or European fans at a later date, but on January 24th, only PS3 owners will be able to enjoy the demo. There wasn’t a reason given, but it makes sense since the demo is being officially release for Japan, where sales of the Xbox 360 are pretty low. Good news, at least for PS3 owners, is that even if you are not from Japan, you should be able to download the demo with a Japanese PlayStation Network account!

As a quick recap, and as the image shows below, the demo will put you in the place of Naruto to fight Sasuke, Pain, and Masked Madara (serious Tobi). The demo will also include original animation by Studio Pierrot to give an opening to Naruto’s story.

This is just like how The Joker was only playable on PS3 for Arkham Asylum a couple years ago, but less of a hit because it's just a demo. Luckily my brother has a PS3.

Just search about it online there are instructions on how to set one up. It's interesting for sure, not speaking Japanese makes it challenging to find things.

Bad news Sound 4 fans:

Fellow fans, there have been many fantastic things revealed about Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, including the inclusion of Tailed Beast Chakra Mode Naruto, an enhanced online mode, and over an hour of original anime content! However, the latest news from Namco Bandai Games will make many disappointed, maybe even angry. The Sound 4 – Tayuya, Jirobo, Sakon, and Kidomaru – have been confirmed to be support only. We at Saiyan Island are pretty shocked by the news ourselves since fans have consistently asked for these characters. Our fingers are crossed though that somehow their playable status changes, but for now they are confirmed as support only.

On the bright side, the Sound Village’s Kimimaro is playable! Check out the new art and screenshots for Kimimaro, Tayuya, Jirobo, Sakon, and Kidomaru.
