Excellent rapper best ever can pretty much never be decided. Grew up listening to alot of his music definitely on my top favs. I do support, listen, and race a fist to his work sadly can't be stated he is #1 but will always press the "like" and "favorite" button to his music.

Agreed, back when he was putting alot more effort in his work especially while in Juvenile was where he shined the best. Lyrics were audible, style was solid, and yea him hopping through different styles of people just completely off.

definitely one of the sickest rappers but I can't agree with you on the 'best rapper ever'. I think I could name around 15ish that are better or as good. he's definitely good though

it's all good bro. not everyone has the same tastes. BUT, do you like rap? and if so, who do you think is better?
I'll answer this question instead since I'm not much of a Tech N9ne fan. I think the best rapper out there lyrically is Lupe Fiasco. You can never listen to a Lupe Fiasco song once and understand what he's really saying. Lupe's verses are metaphors inside metaphors, dipped in skill, sprinkled with lyricism and served on a platter full of meaning. Truly an amazing lyricist.

"I got that birthday word play boy it's a piece of cake. Fold the flow with seats for eight, ororo munroe make it rain not with bills, I make it change."

And that's some of his mildest shit.

I wish others could see what you see in Lupe. As my second favorite rapper, he fills up most of my playlist as well ^^

For anyone who hasn't heard much of Lupe and wants to know what we mean by being a lyrical beast, listen to these songs.

Him speaking the truth

Him reversing black history

And just a positive song

And there are many more.

this is for anyone who loves the rapper Tech N9ne! in my opinion, he's possibly the greatest rapper ever. if u agree or disagree, let me know. i'm definitely on the side of "greatest rapper ever."
I mean .. "He's A Mental Giant" ..lol, Tech's flow is nice man. i dont think the best rapper can truly be debated seeing as there are different genres within rap itself.

^ This. Lupe's in my Top10. Friend of the People was crazy .. "The Instrumental" is one of his better tracks too.

Yeah man, I'm not trying to take anything away from Lupe, he def uses word play like a pro. Being an English teacher (even if I don't seem like it) i most definitely understand and appreciate it.
With Tech tho... man. first, the concepts he comes up with are ill. Like, listen to Trapped in a Psycho's Body. he just has dark stuff, some twisted stuff, inspirational... and his flow is untouchable. off top of my head i'd say listen to Tech's verse from "B-Boy" where he uses alliteration of the letter B all the way through--it's on the album K.O.D, or the last verse of "Bianca's and Beatrices" from Absolute Power, and the first verse of "Can't Shake It" from Killer. then you should see what i mean. if it's not your thing though, it's all good. i love rap in general--just not really radio. besides Lupe. i mean there's Canibus, Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Tech, CELPH TITLED IS A G, Apathy, tons of badass dudes.

lol, i definitely agree on all points. Eazy may be a legend for being a big hip-hop pioneer, but he wasn't so great as an MC.

I am very glad to hear that. It's a good choice at the gym, to me there's nothing to get yourself more pumped up than a good Tech N9ne banger!

Pretty much anyone these days can say man Tupac is a legend so is biggie blah blah. But if we ask then what their favorite song by them they answer is Hail Mary ( Who hasn't heard that song?) Most kids these days think they know about old school ghetto rap but they have no clue. I loved Tupac back in the day I grew up in that generation of music. Maybe the new generation has a bit weaker flow, or not as many controversial topics to write about, but they are damn close. In my eyes Tech & Eminem are my fav rappers.

i agree. even though it's true when anyone says Big & Pac are legends... that doesn't mean they really know what's up. you said Hail Mary but the song i usually hear people say is California Love! come on, my sister--who is a classical pianist who doesn't even like rap--knows that song. Tech and Em are definitely the best out (though i'd say 2 of the best ever... but's that me). I'm all about lyrics, flow and content. To me, those 2 are the full package. Plus i LOVE the operatic atmosphere Tech can create with Kali, like on "The Industry is Punks." he's just so creative. i love it.

All black everything is an amazing song. Some of his older stuff goes even harder than that, he had to dumb some of those down to get them past Atlantic Records. , , , , etc. I gotta admit it's nice to see someone who also appreciates the Fiasco, he deserves it. + rep.

Pretty good listened to the first song you had up there and it wasn't bad at all. Reminds me of one of my favorites.

Peep out K-Rino: Been rappin since the 80s and it seems like he is only gettin better.

Pure talent - lyrical genius and perfect timing with his rhymes

His more popular song on youtube
