In no particular order.

Nas, Pac, B.I.G., Jay Z, Andre 3000, Eminem, Ice Cube, Scarface, Bun B
Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne (before the BS music he puts out now), Jadakiss, Common, Talib kweli, Mos def.

Named 15 for you.
Fantastic list. Andre 3000 wouldn't make it on my top 10 or 15 but he does have such a unique way of putting words together it blows my mind.

Immortal Technique has some really crazy and ****ed up songs too.

what is you serious?? like fo real?

Busta Rymes, Nelly, hell even Xzibit is better than Tech...
Busta Rhymes is overrated. He's good, but he's overrated. Xzibit's ONLY good song, and by only, I mean really the actual only good song he's ever put out would be Get Ya Walk on. That's it. Actually, with that, I think Busta was better back in the day than he is now.

Anyway, I really enjoy Tech's music. He's on my top 10 without a doubt. I really liked one of his recent songs he put out ... can't remember the name off the top but I think it's called 'Who do I catch now'? Really says a lot about him and the industry in general. A+ rapper and can be lyrical when he wants to be.

i have two of busta's albums and i don't really like them, but when he features in other people's songs he's sick, and thats why i rate him but he only has a few good songs of his own

Fab, and Jadakiss. since nobody named them yet.. are better than tech.. Drake too...
man, Fab? i understand thinking Jadakiss, but Fab? ur trippin.

anyone in YMCBullshit are not really rapers in my opinion, maybe drake he had a lot of potential way back then he started doin shit wiv little wayne and is flopping

loads just keep popping in my head xd

Cyrus hill
again, Nas, Cypress Hill... legends. But Warren G, what? lyrically he's nothing, and only had 2 hot songs his whole career. and cypress hill are legendary in their own circles, but lyrically they're not that hot either...

whats the diff between a rapper and an emcee
Lol, that depends who u ask. Honestly, there is no difference. But other people might get technical and say shit like "a rapper rap's but an Emcee is more like a hype man who gets the crowd going." But straight up, an MC is a rapper. DMC--from Run-DMC, says MC stands for Microphone Control. So honestly there is no "wrong" answer to your question, but take it from me, there's no difference. although, MC is also used for someone who hosts a show, but not necessarily a rap show. so there's a technical application to the word as well as the slang meaning of rapper.

yeah, sorry man. i said "hot" rappers, which as you know is waaaay different from "real" rappers. lol, i agree with you, the real one's are all underground. and there's tons of great rappers. I don't mean to diss anyone or whatever, it's just my opinion that Tech is the best. i have many, many reasons why i say that, but i suppose whatever i say won't change minds, plus that's not the point anyway. i'm just glad to meet some people who actually know something about rap.

Worldwide Choppers is my favorite song. Everyone just kills it on that track. But hes not the best rapper EVER. But he is definately better than the pseudo rappers we have diluting the radio.

He and Lupe take up most of mine :D
B. boy, Riot Maker, and Worldwide Choppers are some of the best songs to work out to.

It's just good to see people that are not just into the pop crap that is spat out on almost every radio station these days so kodo's to you for not being a worthless sheep lol.

I must say though I never thought too much of Tech N9ne either, just couldn't get into him enough to put him on a pedestal. Not sayin that he isn't talented but there are just a few people I would rather listen too first.

for real? name 10 who are better...
No order and obviously just my opinion

1. K-Rino (dude is like wine, been rappin since the 80s and his newer stuff is the best)
2. Outkast (both Andre 3000 and Big Boi)
3. Goodie Mob (specifically Cee-Lo and T-Mo)
4. Devin
5. Rakim (seriously listen to Microphone Fiend)
6. Lost Boyz
7. Wu - Tang pre 2000s lol
8. twista before he went pop
9. Do or Die
10. Ludacris

Tried to name some that haven't been said, obviously biggie and pac is up there. I rarely listen to pac these days but can't deny what he did for rap. I would say Nas too but for me he only had 2 good albums and those were his first 2. I could listen to Life's a B**** and Street Dreams/remix any day of the week haha.

Good to see lots of people like rap and not everyone coming in here sayin rap is crap my emo or my head banging music is better.
