Cause Minato would certainly have thought about that.. But he only thought about Madara..
and that makes more sense as Tobi being Izuna..

The theories:
-A Zetsu clone
-Madara
-Obito
-Itachi and Sasuke's father
-Some Uzumaki guy
-Son of the SO6P
-And of course IZUNA.. Madara's brother

hmm how could he live to be old well many possible ways.
1) he could be transferring his soul to other bodies like orochimaru . (although orcho is dead....supposedly who knows with that guy weirdo)
2) the tsuchgikage(spelling) said he once fought against madara and he is still living so there is no time table to how long one could live in the narutoverse. they aint ordinary humans like us
3)going along with how old tshucikage (spelling bad lol) he could be just as old but have some technique like tsunade that makes him look young (lol funny)
4) who knows...he could just be really old like the tschuikage (whatever) cause the tschukage did fight against madara.
who knows why he is alive if he really is alive but there are ways that izuna could still be alive today
and it could be someone else who wants revenge i at one point thought it was kagami uchiha because he was part of the group tobirama---->hence the name tobi, why did i think it was him : doesnt say how he died just says supposed death,also kagami would be old enough to know about madara and would have been more than old enough when he fought the fourth and would be old now. why would he want revenge? well he saw the third get named hokage and could have infuriated him. why? because he was an uchiha and saw that no uchiha was ever gonna be on top just like madara once foresaw.
i also thought it was setsuna uchiha. he was tired of the second hokage and plotted an uprising of the uchiha. but i just dont feel he was strong or worthy enough to be tobi.
so to me tobi is either 1)izuna he has the strength to match madara, looks like him knows everything about him and can impersonate him, 2)it could be kagami but i dont think so i still think its IZUNA but kagami can more than fit the description of tobi. 3) possibly but highly and i mean highly unlikely setsuna.

Dude, if you do the calculation, you will find out that Madara would be about 135 years old. Even if you take Izuna as 5 years younger than Madara he would be 130. So there would be no chance of him being alive
And you said that we cant say how much an average human lives in Narutoverse then think again: we have seen Oonoki crying out loud because of his old back. We also saw that Hiruzen lost against Orochimaru because he was too old. And we do the calculation again then we see that both of these oldies are in their 70's.

lol had you explained your numbers in a logical manner i wouldnt talk bout ya. anyways at the time of the first war the leaf was about 80 years old how old was madara when he found the leaf idk so he was atleast 80 when he fought the 4th hokage. and izuna is younger than him by how much idk. so 16 years have passed since then that would mean madara is atleast 96 and izuna is younger by how much idk. and 96 is a reasonable number for a person to live to. why and how could madara or izuna live long? tobi said he had senju dna. senju chakra is that found in nature. humans are part of nature thus having senju dna could extend izunas or madaras life longer by making their bodies stronger. lol but to say he as least 165? that is way off he would be around 120 atleast depending on what age he found konoha.
tobi or izuna or madara lived long because of how strong their chakras are. back to when itachi was talking to sasuke, itachi said madara gained another power when he gained ems which would probably be immortality as stated here by itachi

tobi might not be izuna even though i want it to be, its probably just a form of madara because he is immortal and powerful and wouldnt just go away. and to say tobi isnt an uchiha? thats just stupid go back and read the fact.
so yes tobi can be madara or izuna no he wouldnt be 160 years old he would be around 120 yes he could have survived all this time because he had really strong chakra and his ems played a role with it
