The only thing i cant understand itachi is why he killed anyone in his own clan (besides sasuke)
I think there were a lot of people who were innocent too
Itachis mom knew the coup de at but i cant see her fighting in this war
or itachis uncle probably he was innocent too
he only had to kill those people who are involved like his fathe but no he killed the whole clan

Was it right that he choose to save his friends instead of complete the mission, which resulted in many more deaths and earned him the hatred of the village (including the friends that he saved). Think about the family of those who died because of his actions.

Anyway if you can relate what he did to real life. You can say he is like any other soldier. He was given orders to restore the peace even if it included killing and thats exactly what he did

It is OBVIOUS, so OBVIOUS that Kishi didn't feel the need to state it, that there were other children in the clan besides Sasuke. I mean, seriously, I can't understand how your mind works around the fact that there was only one child in a 200+ clan. ONE CHILD? Really? No space for another one? No teenager? Those who knew were indirectly responsible. The old people that didn't know were indirectly responsible for allowing such corrupt individuals to grow up and create such corrupt plans.
Itachi Senpai is a hero and did the right thing.
This is a very similar scenario. Except Itachi chose to do the second option. Imagine the amount of people who would have died in the war, all because of Itachi friends and family of those killed in the war, having to visit a new grave site everyday. Killing his clan was brutal but you can't blame him for it.

Im sure all the countless ninja's your favourite character minato slaughtered like pigs during the war were also innocent/against the war but they had to obey orders.

Soldiers are given orders and in most instances its the right order. Innocent people dying is a sacrifice that has been made throughout human history and although im not saying its right we dont live in a fantasy world.
