Agreed! i don't see why people see itachi as evil, he is one of the most noble and truth seeker person after naruto. ONly haters who cannot see their beloved characters fade infront of itachi are jealous of him and term him evil.:flaw:

Wow that's the dumbest thing I've ever read. You can't justify murder no matter how hard you try. Your telling me that just because less people died it was good? No death is bad no matter how you look at it the ends don't justify the means. What if out of those 2000 people you saved 10 of them end up being mass murders. What if out of the 100 family members you killed one of those could have had children that grew up to become president and stop a world war? What if the opposites were true. There's 1000's upon 1000's of what ifs. You can't look at the base and say 100<2000 and say for that reason alone that what you did was good. And the very fact that you think you are worthy enough to judge 100 of your OWN family members as being worthy of dieing and then have the nerve to think that what you did was right just proves how truly ignorant you are. All lives are priceless.
i wont be surprised if shinobi x killed his half family and let other half alive bcoz we cant expect more from a twisted and psycho person like him to come up with any better than this. :flaw:

now here it explains that itachi was 11 maybe 12(but I doubt it) when he started acting strange, when using logic, it's safe to assume this when he got the mission to kill his clan, this young kid who experienced a bloody war 7-8 years ago. that means from this time up until itachi slaughtered his clan, he was trying to come up with a solution, but then all negotiations and whatever else itachi was trying to do failed.

again using logic, you know that they didn't want sasuke in on the information, they were discussing important things, and the mom seemed to know about it all. this conspiracy was too big and complicated, can they really be 100% sure that other uchiha didn't tell their wives and the wives didn't tell their closest friends and so on, it would be hard to pinpoint who all knows about it. and if he only killed certain members it would defeat the purpose anyway because the orders were to kill ALL the uchiha, the elders didn't want any children alive because that would only be another generation of uchiha which the village didn't trust.
this was itachi's ultimatum: we can kill your entire clan including children, and in the process start another ninja war which thousands more can die, and the uchiha would be remembered this way OR, YOU can kill your entire clan since they all will die anyways and prevent a ninja war, and also keep this whole silent.
bottom line, itachi was experiencing this at a young age, and have just witnessed a war several years ago. despite this, he tried to negotiate for a while, obviously not wanting to HAVE to murder his clan, this all failed, and they were threatening to slaughter his clan which would spark another war, and thousands innocent people would needlessly die. itachi then had to choose, he chose to save more lives. and then even after this, he wanted to die and chose his brother to kill him.
Who is going around bagging out itachi and saying what he did was wrong anyways?
Yeah everyone knows he did a noble deed but I dont see why the got Itachi to do it, they could have got just another konoha anbu or something to do it, i mean even though it was the right thing to do you would still feel bad about yourself for doing it.
