2 Rinnegan = 7 Rinnegan

I know the title makes no sense, but neither does my question.

How did Tobi "NO ONE" Uchiha get the other 5 rinnegans? He had none, then he had 2(Nagato), then he had 5 more, which equals 7? I think my math is correct.

That is true. So I guess he stored a Rinnegan somewhere and is only actually using 1 of Nagato's eyes.

I thought the eyes were for show like the time Sasuke used genjutsu on Manda or Tobi used genjutsu on the 9 tails. Based on last weeks manga they eyes are certainly not just for show. Tobi could've gathered the rinnegan eyes from Pain's paths, but if that was the case he wouldn't have bothered tracking down Konan and Nagato's body.

We may never know.

So he somehow took out the normal eyes of each edo tensei and replaced with Sharigan, and then used an ability that made the other eyes in to Rinnegans?

Honestly, I have no idea. I assumed it was a part of the technique where it mirrors the fact that Tobi has one Sharingan and one Rinnegan. But you brought up a good point maybe he just used took 6 eyes from his wall of Sharingan.

That's what I figure. But then again if the path got obliterated how would the eye reform. None of the jinchuuriki had sharingan before death. So I guess it's just one of those thing's that we will never know. :shrug:

I thought that to, but it really doesn't make sense. What I mean is that and edo tensei body will recover itself if damaged. So how can you operate(transplant and eye) and put in another.

Well I think it has to do with who Tobi "NO ONE" Uchiha. A clue to his identity. The Tails have Rinnegan in their left eye and Sharigan in their right, the same Tobi. We can assume that just like Pein the Rinnegan is being transferred over with the chakra rods.

So either Tobi is able to magically transfer the Sharigan too(Why has the Uchiha not being using these rods)with the rods, Or again magically implanted eyes into body's that regenerate body parts.

Thats what I am saying. Something doesn't add up here. Lets figure it out!

That means you are assuming that Sharingan can be transferred via chakra rods.

It's not very complicated.

Pain used his 6 paths tech to do virtually the same thing.

The main difference is tobis 6 paths are not dead, lifeless puppets like pains.

They are the real souls of the dead jinchuriki.

He is simultaneously controlling them with his sharingan, and using them as his six paths.

We have seen many times that when a person gets controlled with the sharingan, their eyes take the appearance of sharingan. We have always seen this done with 2 sharingan eyes however, and tobi only has 1. So it's possible that since tobi uses his right eye to control them they have a sharingan in the right eye, and since he is using his left eye to do the 6 paths tech, their left eyes get rinnegan.

An even better question is now did Nagato give his 6 paths the Rinnegan? More than likely it is the Jutsu he uses to animate the bodies...they all share his (rinnegan user's) eyes which is why they all share the same field of vision...wease:

This is it exactly. Don't forget that as soon as the paths were shown with Sharingan/ Rinnegan Tobi said "By now they have gotten used to their eyes." This means that he did in fact TRANSPLANT sharingan into the jins while using the 6 paths tech to have them copy his rinnegan. Keep in mind, there are only 2 rinnegan in existence (that we know of). So right now, Tobi is using one rinnegan and the other is in storage with his sharingans.
