Edo tensei summons regenerate to the state they were before they died.

If you cut a edo tensei jinchuriki eyes out they will regenerate...so how do you figure you could transplant eyes?

As I said before, Unlike Pain, Tobi's 6 paths are not lifeless puppets.

He is using his sharingan to control them and using his rinnegan to use his 6 paths tech giving them all the rinnegan.

Well then how do you explain Tobi's statement that the jins were now used to their eyes? He said that for a reason.

You make a good point that an edo would regenerate a lost eye, but I think that is a detail that kishi would overlook. What I'm saying is that kishi will sometimes overlook small things that really don't make sense if you think about it too much.

I think this might be one of those instances because Tobi told us directly that he transplanted eyes by telling us they were now used to them.

When you have the Rinnegan and use the 6 paths technique. Each path get the Rinnegan as well. That's why 6 paths of pain each had Rinnegan, and Tobi's path have Rinnegan in their left eye.

uhh yes...pains summons also had the chakra rods...its exactly the same
