What makes you think luffy will drown dead if shanks use 1 sec to knock the seaking with 3rd haki and then swim to luffy?
Maybe if you get a new pair of glasses, you would see the proof a long time ago, i said why shanks losing an arm was pointless and didn´t need to happen, i´ve proven myself but you all one piece fanatics can´t accept that just cuz shanks is your favorite or something.

The fact that Luffy can't swim due to his devil fruit and was already drowning, perhaps?
Had he been a second late, Luffy was dead, of that much, I'm sure, either by drowning or eaten by the monster.
And no one's hating you, I'm trying to explain why I think you're wrong.
What proof? You mean all those comments of you whining about Shanks losing an arm and all of us showing you otherwise? You haven't proved anything. As I said, I see not even one person who agrees with you.

No. Just no. Shanks is not my favorite character, Robin is. Shanks is far away from the position, actually.
And no one is making Shanks a god or anything, we're stating facts. He had two choices: let luffy die (drowned or eaten) or stand between Luffy and the monster and prevent him from drowning by catching him. Guess which one he chose?
Do you honestly think he lost his arm on purpose?

You need to stop exaggerating honey, by the time shanks saved him, he was perfectly fine so him knocking the seaking with the 3rd haki wouldn´t make luffy drown dead.
Luffy knocked out the executoners who were about to behead ace with haki so it works fast, that was 1 sec.

And we've seen Shanks use haki later on the sea king. He just put his concern over Luffy's well-being before anything else. Re-read that part, please.

The Seaking's mouth was already open, not to mention, Luffy was in the water now for more than 30 seconds, and trust me, those 30 seconds feel like hell when you don't know how to swim or devil fruit user in Luffy's case,
Shanks had no other choice.

I´m sorry, i meant if luffy could knock out those executioners in 1 sec as they were about to behead ace with their swords then shanks should be able to use haki to knock out the seaking in time before it got to luffy and save him which would handle the situation without having to lose an arm like that.
That was my point, i know it got confusing with the unfinished sentence "3rd haki wouldn´t make" but i had to get off my laptop to other matters.
I guess you can´t point out flaws in the one piece fanclub huh?
Everyone just makes excuses, that´s it, i´ve made my point, if you´re so ignorant and stubborn(and i´m talking to everyone) that you can´t or don´t want to understand it then too bad for you.
I know what you´re trying to say but it´s just pointless for that to have happened.
