how will neji mange to hit gai in the beginning , gai can move so fast you can't even see him , and that's without the gates
and he can open the gates in a blink of an eye
and kisama made neji sit like a dog , and gai danced all over his fins

gai can take a distance and use day time tiger , which will send neji flay ... as a corpse

Guy and Lee spar on almost the same level, Lee (in average speed) can't keep up with Neji. Neji's Taijutsu would be on guys level unless guy went seven gates.... which he would have to accomplish before Neji shut down his chakra network with 128 plams, which normal guy could not avoid.

Time basically slows down for Neji in 128 palm, he could hit him and do it with ease (if guy has not activated his gates)
