How can i tell you if i myself don't know.We know absolutely nothing about hiruzen in his prime.But what i do know is that nagato commented that jiraya would likely have defeated him if he knew about the six paths.With hiruzen,it's a certainty.

The strongest path, deva path almost couldn't do any of his strong moves against jiraya...why? Nagato was crippled at the top of the tower, and if he used chibaku tensei, the entire tower would collapse, killing him in it...Yes jiraya had the BIGGEST chance of beating pain due to that, but on a open battlefield its a easy win for nagato
Jirayawould only have one because of the situation he was in within the tower...If they were out in the open, how would jiraya beat chibaku? he'd die in 20seconds....He and hiruzen will die in 20 seconds ....Its a op ass jutsu

Maybe Jiraiya doesn't have anything But what about hiruzen,We know like 5 of his total moves(canon).Besides,i m not sure if we know the full extend of jiraiya's sage mode.In most of the fight jiraiya was trying to find out pain's secret rather than running away or using/summoning something for a jutsu as Chibaku tensei.

Also I don't think Nagato would wanna destroy the Rain village because they treat as god and they have been through Pain or something + why would he wanna kill Konan.

I know some of you may say Nagato cause he took on bee and naruto but remember those two do not have the justus and brains to go up against nagato but the 3rd hokage and J-man does.Plus the 3rd is consider the strongest hokage and the strongest kage and j-man well you all know.

How would Hiruzen and J-man avoid CT? Prime Hiruzen is made up of all hype, I mean he couldn't be about 4x as strong as he is old right? Because J-man is still strong as heck and he is old too.

Nagato by far.
All the leaf's ninjutsus the third has mastered will just make nagato stronger. Their best bet is to go close quarters with frog katas and enma staff, but getting into close quarters will be beyond difficult with massive shinra tenseis, missiles, lasers, and boss summons to halt them. And then if they get close, there is always asura realm's six arms to deal with.

Yes but not by far want me to tell you why? Hiruzen could hold off Nagato until he does the song unless Nagato decides to do like a Shinera Tensei right when it's coming see that could change the battle because if he does do Shinera Tensei then what if after the Shinera (Spelling) is done then Hiruzen could be thrown by Enma and cast a Reaper Death Seal. Or IDK but I still think Nagato could win.

Nagato has knowledge and won't let jiraiya pull off the song.
As for getting close and reaper death seal, asura arms and lasers say hi. And nagato can see the death god, and will know that hiruzen is preparing it. And nagato's human path's soul-sucking ability > reaper death seal.

How? I mean J-man starts off with Sage Mode and then all 3rd Hokage has to do is hold Nagato off I am petty sure he can do that with all the jutsus he knows and also what are you saying on the bold part? Have you gone out of your mind???
