One piece it too childish

ok i am not going to read all the pages before this one. I just started op and i will tell you it sucks. BUT...but it is getting way bette i am only on ep 104 i think. well around that . And it is getting better already i almost quit because of the childish looking shit like pokemon or something. I stuck with and now i am invested. lol but i hear it gets a lot better later than what i am on. So long story short i like naruto bleach and i am starting to like one piece. If everyone i talked to on here is correct i will like one piece too. Sorry i am rambling but one more thing dont knock a show until you watched/read it.

This is what I want to hear people. Why hate a show you know nothing of? I'm updated with both Naruto and One Piece and I can say OP is waaay better in so many aspects. For example, Oda does not hate female characters and they are allowed to kick ass while Kishimoto... um... *points at Sakura crying, Ino being dragged defenseless by Kakuzu, Tenten being knocked out by a ****in wind fan!*

Also, zombiejesus, I bet you'll be completely hooked at Water 7/Enies Lobby, it's the best arc I can bet you anything you'll love it when you get there

I think the point that most of you are missing is that the OP fans keep getting these stupid threads where people says it sucks when they have read like 5 chapters or watched like 5 episodes and decided they dont like. you have not experienced the true greatness of OP. What I want all of you who say that OP sucks to do, is read/watch all of OP, which ever you prefer to do, and then come back to us and discuss what you don't like.

Most of us who read and watch OP as our favorite anime still read and watch others. I personally read Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail every week. OP is better than the others but i still watch all of the others and give all of them a fair shot. The only reason, as Cali said, that we get mad and pissed about people dissing OP is that they go to some fansites to get facts about popularity, really you went to a naruto fansite and expect to find out that naruto is not the most popular? Its like going to a baptist church expecting to find aethists. Not going to happen.

That is why we get annoyed at people posting these idiotic comments when they have not given it a shot past a few episodes. I'll be honest, i thought it looked stupid and would have never started except bleach bored the hell out of me at that point, i was caught up on naruto, and i had just finished Eyeshield 21. I needed something new, and didnt become a true fan until the i finished the Baratie arc, then i could not stop. We are not expecting everyone to love OP more than other series, or to prefer it to Naruto, all we ask is that you read/watch all that it has to offer before you come here and voice your opinion about it, if that is too much for you to do, then do not expect us to give you any respect

well doesnt concern you that there are these 2 facts?? 1) there is nobody that have watched all one piece episodes and said that it sucsk, and 2) every time a read a thread like this one there are always OP fans making paragraphs explaining why OP is better, or at least good, when the haters spend 1-2 (mostly 3) lines of flaming

And it's NOT childish. 4!Kids severely censored it for a reason, you know, not just because they wanted to.

Not quite. Doflamingo quitted being a pirate to become a Shichibukai, that is, a government agent. So, technically, he's a corrupt marine, as it was shown on Jaya and Sabaody arcs.

I would say naruto got better storyline but as in overall, OP is way better..
it has it all.. better action pack, fighting, comedy, thriller and many more.

When I say: One Piece is better than Naruto, my opinion has more basis and more ground than anyone else in this thread who says otherwise. You wanna know why? Because I've seen ALL episodes and read ALL chapters of BOTH manga, so I know what they are about.
Someone who has watched all of Naruto and only seen 10% of One Piece that says that Naruto is better, his opinion has no basis as he has only seen 10% of it. (10% being 52 episode, most of the people who are talking smack about One Piece haven't even seen 10 episodes).

I doubt I could ever personally like One Piece better than Naruto or DBZ (mostly DBZ for the nostalgia). I like characters who are mostly serious rather than mostly goofy.

I like One Piece, but most of the characters are overly goofy or perverted (I mean seriously Sanji needed a blood tranfusion because he kept bleeding from his nose when he saw pretty girls and mermaids, Brooks is always asking if he can see someones panties...). For the exception of Zoro, Mihawk, Akainu, Rayleigh, and a few other characters they all can be incredibly goofy and are more goofy than serious. I'd like to see more of Trafalgar Law and The Kidd Pirates they seemed intense and serious.
