Hey i need tips on the game.Am currently in mission 7 and virgil is owning my ass how do i kill him

Seriously? My advice for you, if it's on Pc, delete the game, if it's on PS2, or anyother game console Break the disk.... Level 7 is Vergil's Weakest form... WEAKEST!!! He'll get alot harder, i swear it!
Okay, lemme be serious...He's hard, cos he's your brother, one of the few bosses that can think and still do maximum damage, he has a few tough moves, like his judgement cut, rapid slash, Taunting(for kicks and kills), Upperward and downward slashes(to make you feel stupid with yourself) defensive spins, parrying and oh, of course, teleportation! (Gee, thanks Dad (Sparda)).
How To kill: Use, Ebony and Ivory(Twin Pistols), Rebellion( that dumb sword the reminds you of Bleach) and Angi and Rudra(fire and wind demons...).
Wait for an open spot while dodging one his
attacks then hit him and he will stagger, which will leave him open to quite a
few attacks. Eventually he will parry one of your attacks and attack you
immediately afterward. Roll out of the way as soon as you see the attack
coming directly after the parry and you will have another chance to hit him.
The main attack you have to look out for in this battle is his Rapid Slash -
roll to the side the moment you see him dash. Vergil will always parry the
next hit if you hit him while he recovers from his Rapid Slash. Be careful
about trying to get a free hit while he taunts since he will sometimes cancel
the taunt into an attack. If he ever teleports, roll immediately since he will
try to hit you afterward.

2. Use moves randomly
3. Mix his moves into combos
4. Might pull out Spiral swords although that rarely happens!
Becareful, Vergil will be out for blood!
Toward the end of the battle he will teleport to one
of the sides and unleash a gravity wave toward you (Judgement Cut). Dodge the
gravity wave with a roll or jump if you are far away, but if you are close,
lock onto him and hit him with a Stinger
PS: Make sure you're using Trickster style, whatever other style will make Vergil Pawn you!
Good luck and remember, most bosses WILL kill you a lot before you understand them, follwoing this guidelines wont help you kill him, but if you do, you get used to fighting him and you can freestyle the battle,,,, take care!

Use Holy Water... seriously that shit's a life saver it takes a decent bit of his health and you can use the few seconds he's burning to wack/shoot at him and take down small chunks of his life.... that's what I did xd also I used Ebony and Ivory alot... >_>

but yes Holywater will knock the bishiters outta him! i used holy water later wen facing Beowulf, he was about to crush me to my last life and booommmm holy water, dying beowulf!

Wear your Sparda costume, stay in Demon form, and the fight will be over in a minute.........yes, I used a cheat code to unlock those, but it was years ago, big whoop, wanna fight about it?
That aside, just do what Howard said. Make sure your far away from him when hes using DT. Otherwise, Vergil will chop down your health pretty fast. And constantly be on the move because, as you can see, hes......fast.
