Madara vs Minato

From the evidence presented in the manga, i'd say Madara is the favorite and the 4th is the underdog, but not by much. We don't know exactly how smart Madara is, but the 4th was a genius. Madara has eye techs that would make a grow man weep on the other hand, has maasive chakra, speed, and has EMS with susanoo plus rinnegan.He also took control of the 9 tails and has a reputation for being one of the most fearsome shinobi ever. The 4th hokage, meanwhile is faster than Madara(or anyone else for that matter) and its almost 90 % confirmed that no sharingan can keep up with his body movements. Then there's the FTG, level 1 and 2 and his sealing jutsu's like the Dead Demon Seal. Also, shinobi in the 3rd ninja world war were given flee on sight orders if they even saw minato, so he was as feared as Madara.

So who do you think would win? Please back up your answer with proof from the manga which helps to support your view.

i like both and i would say madara however there is an interview with the creator on naruto and he says minato is the strongest on the dead ninjas

Minato has incredible speed and Madara has incredible power. Usually when the two are combined it seems that speed always triumps. But there is one thing that madara definitely has over minato and that is a whole lot of battle experience.

i wonder if minato would be able to move if madara used shinra tensie. its a strong gravitational pull depending on the chakra use and right now madara is showing some serious chakra reserves. i would think minato would have some trouble moving from place to place if he has to deal with other G forces from moving from place to place. and if madara used a quick amaterasu on him during the pull could minato escape that as well? having the combination of Rinnegan and Sharingan are like having two queens on a chess board and i dont know if you play chess but thats a serious advantage to your strategies

I'm a big chess fan, but with minato its like he always has 3 pawns one step away from the end=becoming queens, which i'm sure you know if you play chess.
And no, gravity needs time to act. Minato can throw hundreds of kunai, hundreds of metres apart and teleport to them, or to kunai which are not in the range of shinra tensei......remember when chouji throws kunai at the God realm in the invasion of pain arc which barely miss him? If that were Minato he would have been pawnd. And the raikage dodged ametarasu, and he admitted being slower than minato was.

Agree Minato can cause confusion. But genjutsu? It won't work. Why? Because Tobi the masked man used a powerful genjutsu to control the mizukage but was unable to use that on Minato.

Word of mouth cant be used to settle debates, its feats. This is like saying Palpatine is the strongest Sith because Lucas said so regardless of existing Sith Lords that can bend suns.
