A NB Zero Tolerance Policy:

Why do we need a Zero Tolerance Policy?
It seems necessary based upon past events and current events that NB requires a Zero Tolerance policy on the issue of "I told you so," and "Tobi Identity" threads (or duplicate threads in general).

Therefore, when an "I told you so" thread (or a thread of similar nature) is created, upon being reported or viewed by a person of sufficient authority reprimands will occur.

Below is an outline of the possible reprimands for new members (Less than one month since they registered).

First Offense:
  • Warning
  • One day revocation of thread creation rights.
Second Offense:
  • Infraction
  • One day ban
  • One week revocation of thread creation rights.
Third Offense:
  • Infraction
  • One week ban
  • One month revocation of thread creation rights.
Below is an outline of the possible reprimands for regular members (More than one month since they registered).

First Offense:
  • Infraction
  • One day ban
  • One week revocation of thread creation rights.
Second Offense:
  • Infraction
  • One week ban
  • One month revocation of thread creation rights.
Third Offense:
  • Infraction
  • One month ban
  • Three month revocation of thread creation rights.
For New Members:
The revocation of ones right to create threads. On a first offense, one could lose the right to create new threads for a day. This would grow to longer periods of time with each offense as well. The user, however, would still be capable of replying to threads.

The warning can also include friendly reminders to keep their "I told you so" to the official chapter discussion and prediction thread where nobody has to read it or see it consuming the new posts.

The ban would be reserved for a second offense and would be a twenty four hour ban. When it ends, revocation of ones right to create threads for a week would start.

For Regular Members:
A first time offense would warrant a ban starting at one week with a revocation of thread creation rights for a month. Regular members are expected to know the rules and regulations of NB and the punishments should see fit to that.
Keep in mind, these are just recommendations. I'm sure if this suggestion is taken into effect, it will be greatly altered if any of the original content is utilized. I'm also sure many of the incidences will be decided on a case by case basis, probably with the ability to appeal the charges.

Revision 1.0.1: Corrected spelling errors
Revision 1.1.0: Added thread creation permission content
Revision 1.2.0: Created a punishment outline, and slightly reduced the severity of the punishments.
Revision 1.3.0: Added a second punishment outline, changing the first one for new members and the second one for regular members.
Revision 1.3.1: Minor editing
Revision 1.3.2: Minor editing
Revision 1.3.3: Added some things, bolded some stuff.
Revision 1.3.4: Changed up the revision section some.
Revision 1.3.5: Made the suggested punishments for regular members a little more lenient. Added some more stuff.

Do discuss. I will make revisions where necessary.

I have to agree with this. All I see is just people satisfying their needs by writing a paragraph, or a whole essay about how their idea was the right one. Come on people, grow up, no1 gives a camel dung about you being right. Another thing is that there's always a thread made which is about the current chapter and a prediction, why not post it in there? It was made for that purpose! X___x

YES! I was so sick, and so was everybody else, that the moment when people joined, they instantly created a 6th coffin thread with no facts, no theories, just "Tobi is Obito" and valiantly stood there in the face of the flaming, and said "I am right"...
At least a warning, or maybe like an intro quiz you have to take before being able to make threads, saying no certain threads, no bleach vs. naruto threads, etc

Which is why I suggested such a severe punishment. I'm sure after people are given a one day ban, they will probably learn their lesson. If not after a one week ban.

I just thought of a revision I will include. "The poster will also lose the right to create a thread for a week. This will grow in multiplication with the offenses as well."

Could we extend this to tobi theory threads as well? @.@
I do believe they already have rules against this.

I meant the one-day ban and extension to a week ban. It is annoying seeing these people make the same stupid theories everyday :| Thanks Zombie, much love.

I suppose if the admin take this policy into consideration and further implement it, they would be free to implement parts of it with other rules as well.

I said this a long time ago, but for alot of other subjects. I fully agree. I think that a NB zero tolerance policy should be extended to several other areas, but i wont hijack the thread ^::^
