its true...sasuke won and left naruto unconcious. i guess he could have killed his most beloved friend, but he wanted to show his brother he was not like him, a murderer. he was going to attain the mangenkyio some other way... atleast those were his toughts then. but it is also true that naruto could have given him a severe punch but all he went for was his forehead protector, because unlike sasuke naruto didnt wanted to kill him. he proved sasuke that he was also strong.

If it was the complete opposite Naruto would have probably been standing in the end and would have brought Sasuke back, but he didn't. Naruto failed to bring Sasuke back and was knocked out, he lost.

If both were unconscious then it would have been a draw.

If Naruto was standing at the end he would have been the victor.

Sasuke was standing at the end and was able to progress, he wins.

Naruto's choice to strike the headband, if that was his true intention instead of harming Sasuke, gave him the loss.

I disagree, Naruto was on the ground unconscious, even if he lost on purpose, he still lost. I see no tie when Sasuke could have finished him off had he chosen to, a loss is a loss, and that's exactly what naruto took when he let Sasuke win

Naruto knew sasuke was going to strike him yet he struck the headband on Purpose to prove a point and because sasuke told him he couldnt... Naruto did what he said he would... Sasuke was given the oppurtunity to do what he said he would but didnt out of respect for his friends power... and naruto knew if sasuke had the chance to kill him he wouldnt... Naruto took that chance and was right.,.. SO ITS A TIE

An object he knew he wasn't going to accomplish considering the fact that he started with two tomoe. During the battle he unlocked three tomoe and he didn't want to kill Naruto anymore. Obtaining the MS was a little fantasy at that time in his life. lol
