Look guys, these people will ignore us, provoke us with their insults toward our beliefs but I'm not doing the same, I'll show respect. They act like 5-year old kids, without a reason! They don't do a civil discussion and they even insult my belief, REALLY?? Is that you?

Personally, I think everyone can believe what they want to believe. But what i read from different religion an taking from experiences in life. There is something out there we can not explain either from science or a religion.
I Personally follow the way of buddha, i dont think its a religion but a way to live your life. Like someone mention before he is not a god and he never told his followers he's a god.
He taught us the three universal truth, and four noble truths. little bit long but needed to explain for people that don't know.

3 Universal truths
1.Nothing is lost in the universe
nothing can be destroy only converted
2. Everything Changes
time does not stop nor anyone or anything
3. Law of Cause and Effect
(this is Karma)similar to the science cause and effect law

4 noble truths
1.life means suffer
Suffering: Everyone suffers from these thing
Birth- When we are born, we cry.
Sickness- When we are sick, we are miserable.
Old age- When old, we will have ache and pains and find it hard to get around.
Death- None of us wants to die. We feel deep sorrow when someone dies.
Other things we suffer from are:
Being with those we dislike,
Being apart from those we love,
Not getting what we want,
All kinds of problems and disappointments that are unavoidable.
The Buddha did not deny that there is happiness in life, but he pointed out it does not last forever. Eventually everyone meets with some kind of suffering. He said:
"There is happiness in life,
happiness in friendship,
happiness of a family,
happiness in a healthy body and mind,
...but when one loses them, there is suffering."
2. cause of suffering
The Buddha explained that people live in a sea of suffering because of ignorance and greed. They are ignorant of the law of karma and are greedy for the wrong kind of pleasures. They do things that are harmful to their bodies and peace of mind, so they cannot be satisfied or enjoy life.
ex. once children have had a taste of candy, they want more. When they can't have it, they get upset. Even if children get all the candy they want, they soon get tired of it and want something else. Although, they get a stomach-ache from eating too much candy, they still want more. The things people want most cause them the most suffering. Of course, there are basic things that all people should have, like adequate food, shelter, and clothing. Everyone deserves a good home, loving parents, and good friends. They should enjoy life and cherish their possessions without becoming greedy.
3. To end suffering is attainable
To end suffering, one must cut off greed and ignorance. This means changing one's views and living in a more natural and peaceful way. It is like blowing out a candle. The flame of suffering is put out for good. Buddhists call the state in which all suffering is ended Nirvana. Nirvana is an everlasting state of great joy and peace. The Buddha said, "The extinction of desire is Nirvana." This is the ultimate goal in Buddhism. Everyone can realize it with the help of the Buddha's teachings. It can be experienced in this very life.
4. the path to end suffering
The path to end suffering is known as the Noble Eightfold Path. It is also known as the Middle Way.
All religion at one time is meant to improve ones life and experiences. Its just the people in power at the time and place manipulated it for their own greed for money or to stay in power.

religion has and always will be a shit stain on mankind, ironically there peoplewho say you should respect others belifes, when people in 911 died in the name of religion.

religion and beliefs has caused so much bloodshed through out history.

listen you have a right to belive
i have a right to say f*ck your belives

you may think this is an insult to religiouse people
but it will never compare to the insult religion has left on mankind.

this mainly goes out to the christians and muslims here. **** your beliefs.
In the past christians and muslim fought for the holy land which cause hundreds of thousands of people to die for no other reason then gods will. Its still the same today, suffering will never end. That is the human nature, only when we realize that we are all one with the world and universe then we can start to end suffering.

Wow. I feel like converting to Buddhism. ^__^

Thanks for the knowledge.

@Nocturnal - I personally disagree with your approach but I believe it is necessary (which I admire; I can't speak freely like that) so that we do not delude ourselves into thinking that religion is the answer to all our problems.

There was neither non-existence nor existence then.
There was neither the realm of space nor the sky which is beyond.
What stirred?
Where?
In whose protection?
Was there water, bottlemlessly deep?

There was neither death nor immortality then.
There was no distinguishing sign of night nor of day.
That One breathed, windless, by its own impulse.
Other than that there was nothing beyond.

Darkness was hidden by darkness in the beginning,
with no distinguishing sign, all this was water.
The life force that was covered with emptiness,
that One arose through the power of heat.

Desire came upon that One in the beginning,
that was the first seed of mind.
Poets seeking in their heart with wisdom
found the bond of existence and non-existence.

Their cord was extended across.
Was there below?
Was there above?
There were seed-placers, there were powers.
There was impulse beneath, there was giving forth above.

Who really knows?
Who will here proclaim it?
Whence was it produced?
Whence is this creation?
The gods came afterwards, with the creation of this universe.
Who then knows whence it has arisen?

Whence this creation has arisen
- perhaps it formed itself, or perhaps it did not -
the One who looks down on it,
in the highest heaven, only He knows
or perhaps even He does not know.

One reason I follow Buddhism is that the Buddha said this is in my own words
Do not blindly believe what I have taught you but process in your mind and your understanding and if it is true then and only then you should follow it. Unlike some religion just require you to put your faith in something that might not be true. Sorry I'm not bashing anyone's religion or belief. It is just my point of view and from my life experiences.
For me you can believe Christ as your savor or Allah whatever makes you happy that's fine with me. Because I can not change your mind, no one can not even god himself. Only you can change your mind if you choose to change it.
To end the post with some Buddha quotes

You will not be punished for your anger; you will be punished by your anger*
*
Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned
*
Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth

Your work is to discover your world and then with all your heart give yourself to it

lol.. God doesn't need our opinion to validate him. If god would be so petty to care what a nocturnal or isthatnecessary are typing on a keyboard on an insignificant planet in this large universe, he would'nt be really a god.

It's about our own journey to peace within.

sometimes people tend to blame what they do on some things which may or may not directly affect them...

some blame religion for the death or even for the wars that human made...

some blame religions for the blasphemy of people unto other religions...

but if you would try to assess the situation... religions are only guidance that humans may or may not follow....

If your religion teaches you to love another... it's your choice whether to do it or not...

If your religion teaches you to kill each other... it's your choice whether to make it happen or not....

we join in wars, do crimes, kill and love not because some religion teaches us.. but because that's the way we wanted to live our life... whether guided by destiny or faith or guided by your own belief...it's still up to human choice whether to do it or not...

so it's pathetic to blame all the wars and killings to religions even though we knew that people does it whatever his/her belief in life is...

You act so indifferent, I admit that there are peoples who told me not to debate a lot with you guys since you always deny His existence and even if we're right, you don't care, I guess they were right but there were atheist which turned into christians, I know one of them. Why do you think he doesn't want to be an atheist anymore? Because he know he was wrong ! You'll regret when the time will come!

I agree with you! To debate with Atheists is nothing, why?...Cause they will ignore you in everything you will say! Don't worry -Kratos-....You know that it will come a time that everyone will be judged for their mistakes!

Wrong number, guys.

First, what makes you think I'm an atheist? Secondly, I'm comfortable with my own beliefs. I have lots of regrets and maybe there will be more as I age but, choice of religion won't be one of them.

Then you should get over the fact that My respect for Religion is below 0.
He's so right. I think exactly the same way.
But I do respect people, no matter. (Unless they want to shove their belief down your throat)

But It's fun when people say: "The time will come when you see that you were wrong!" Seriously? Do you really think that people like us would believe in religion when the time comes? BS.
