I'm just curious on why senpai's can only teach the basic 5 elements and not ninjutsu or taijutsu. I can understand genjutsu as that can be rather weird to teach. But ninjutsu and taijutsu (mainly taijutsu) are self explanatory and most are common techniques that are seen in the anime. We can teach the basic 5 but there are some techs that would require ninjutsu training to teach the student like the elemental rasengan techs. So really we can't completely teach the student in the basic 5. Taijutsu I'm more curious about as it's really self explanatory. So this is a question and a slight suggestion.

1. you need a bio.

2. Don't ask in threads unless they are an application thread.

3. This is considered spam, which applies to "2".

4. Make a bio, get it approved, I'll teach you what I can within your rank.

I never understood that restriction either so I am in the same boat with you as the elements I have learned have all been from sempai and not sensei. I can never find a sensei willing to teach ninjutsu or taijutsu. I even had one that would have rathered have done Genjutsu instead of Ninjutsu even though Ninjutsu is arguably one of the more important things to learn. If sempai could teach Ninjutsu, that would relieve pressure for a few sensei, I'm sure, but probably load up the sempai with a lot more students and render the sensei nearly obsolete besides Genjutsu.

I see...so you're saying that as the techniques the higher in difficulty (D-S Rank) it requires more work and concentration. I could see how the rasengan would need a form of tai in order to get close to the opponent...
Interesting. That would put more value into learning the jutsu.

What's the point in doing the sensei test if you can just teach everything being a sempai?

well aren't senpai's supposed to be able to teach in the sensei's place?

The sempai system was created long ago, when there were members who specialised in things that other sensei didn't use. An example of this is when Chiryoku was the hyuga sempai, and Lok was a tai/gates sempai.

Now times have changed and sempai can teach anything in their sensei's place. But i see sempai just training anyone they want, even when their sensei is active, which is wrong.

If a sempai understood the jutsu well enough, why isn't he a sensei yet?

i agree with Dan, it would be "useless" to do Sensei test if sempais would be allowed to teach Tai and Nin

eh, good point and I didn't know about that sensei's place thing.
But, it would be nice that if say, a senpai was a snpai for a certain period of time (like 6 months) and was actively training during that time he/she should be able to at least teach nin.
My main problem is that we should at least be able to teach rasengan to complete a students training.

Boom, right on it.

I might be a sempai myself, but I find myself grateful for being one.
I don't get it, you complain as a sempai that people stalk your profile, spam your mailbox and constantly send VM's for training, yet you want more stuff to train?

As Dan said, go do the sensei test...

Also, a sempai isn't there to teach in the sensei's place. A sempai most of the times isn't even an inch close to what experience the sensei has. Look at my case, I couldn't even dream of being close to Izuna's experience level. Sempais are (as Dan explained, perhaps but I have another opinion) there to take some load of the senseis as there has been a massive group of new people, and the current senseis can't keep up the amount of work. It's only fitting that a sensei takes an appropriate sempai as well, most of the time being a former Personal Student IMO.
