no matter what they say when you put planet dev in the eqaution itachi loses no matter what his yasaka thing couldnt have destroyed it by its self and even it could when nagato was weak and fought against naruto he still had chakra to fight again andwhen they fought in present time nagato let them seal him so kabuto couldnt use him again so if nagato was still being controlled they would have died

Exactly, this thread was not made for one style of response. By creating a poll the option to simply vote instead of argue (and I mean argue, not debate) about these characters is a viable solution.
It doesn't matter if there were fanboys or not. Because all of you are nagato fanboys. So fanboys vs fanboys...maybe that should be the next thread.

Itachi's Tsukuyomi can be casted on more than one person:
In Konoha when Kakashi fought Itachi. When Itachi was about 2 use Tsukuyomi Kakashi told BOTH KURENAI n ASUMA 2 CLOSE THEIR EYES. Kakashi is smart. Why wud he ask both of them 2 close their eyes 2 counter his Tsukuyomi if it cud only be casted on 1 person at a time. They were 3 of them. Itachi got only Kakashi bcos he was d only 1 who looked into his eyes. Dis is d same way Itachi wud cast a genjutsu on d 6 paths. He cud use his eyes or fingers. Dis was exactly what happened when They faced Itachi on their way 2 save Gaara. Kakashi told ALL of them NOT 2 look into his eyes but his body.

nagato wasent weak, THats why he sucked out naruto's chakra/soul or whatever he did, to get complete.
And if nagato wasent controlled by Edo tensei, then he would've been a target for Genjutsu.
I cannot believe that Itachi has more votes than Pain!
as for the last fight: Nagato was fighting THREE of the most powerful of shinobi, he lacked mobility as Kabuto said, probably he didn't heal completely and the only reason why Itachi was able to use the Totsuka sword was because Nagato was busy kicking Naruto's pathetic little ass!
Pain is stronger than Itachi. and what's this crap about sharingan>rinnegan somebody has been saying? where? yeah I guess Madara replaced a sharingan with a rinnegan cause he wanted to be weaker...I love Itachi...but too many Itachi fanboys here, I'm feeling sick.

Genjutsu wouldn't affect the 6 paths of pain
I am going to prove with FACTS why genjustu wouldn't work on the 6 paths of pain, this is evidence found here

Genjutsu uses the chakra system to manipulate images in the brain, this means that any normal ninja would be affected if they had chakra. But the 6 paths are not normal ninja, they are controlled by Nagato, and he can stop and disrupt their chakra to their bodies at will through the chakra receivers. This means that even if Itachi uses tsukiyomi, Nagato would simply cut off the chakra to the path he used it on, it would cancel the genjutsu, and Itachi would have wasted his technique, no matter how many times he does it, it would always work out like that. The only genjutsu technique that would affect the rinnegan is genjutsu using sound, or Izanagi. Because sound hits every single of the Pains at once, so they don't know whether what they are seeing is real or not. Thus preventing them from breaking out of it. If it was the Edo Tensei Nagato vs. Itachi, he could put him under a genjutsu, because it is one person, but with all 6 paths of pain, he would lose
Okay then this is how Itachi will win:
Since genjutsu can work. Itachi can use a variety of different genjutsu to destroy or distract the paths.
there are only 6 and the most dangerous is the deva path, followed by preta path.
So Itachi will deal with these first.
Itachi can either use:
1. Finger genjutsu used on Naruto which works instantly
2. Genjutsu used on Oro which also works instantly
3. Or Tsukuyomi which lasts a second
Neither deva path or preta path would be able to defend against any of these genjutsu, especially tsukuyomi so within a second the deva path is weakened and unable to move followed by the preta path. Itachi can then throw kunai at them and they won't be able to defend or he can use water style jutsu and they still won't be able to defend
We can agree that the summons are useless since Itachi can just Amaterasu them or seal them away. Or he could just use a genjutsu on the path controlling them.
both the Nakara and human path are useless since they require physical contact and all Itachi has to do is keep away from them which he can with ease since he's faster than them and can predict their moves. Also Itachi could just use Susano'o and envelop himself so that neither of these two paths have any physical contact with him. And all it takes to them down is either a katon fireball jutsu or yasaka magatama since the dead bodies are weak anyway they won't be difficult to destroy.
And with the final path Itachi can just Amaterasu him as well since he has no defense against that
Where did you people get "Rinnegan is immune to genjutsu"
And Madara replaced his eye with the rinnegan, After he Lost one of his eyes, fighting Konan. And so that he can have 2 types of techniques (Sharingan tech And Rinnegan tech)
Genjustu works on Edo summons he was being controlled by kabuto and was crippled thats not a major disadvantage i really doubt itachi would be a good ninja if he was crippled kishi has to give him disadvantages vs argueably the 3 strongest ninja in naruto

2. THERE IS 1 IMPORTANT THING I WUD WANT 2 POINT OUT.
D genjutsu Itachi casted upon Naruto when they met on their way 2 save Gaara was NOT Tsukuyomi. It was Itachi's NORMAL GENJUTSU. I know dis bcos he even said he cudn't activate MS at that time.
3. That was only 30% of Itachi's chakra. So if disrupting ur chakra flow(with someone as much chakra as Naruto) cudn't work on a NORMAL GENJUTSU of a 30% Itachi how cud someone disrupt his chakra 2 counter TSUKUYOMI? It's not possible even with d Rinnegan.
4. It is stated in d manga that Itachi's Tsukuyomi can ONLY BE BROKEN BY HIS OWN FLESH AND BLOOD(Meaning Sasuke). And Sasuke fulfilled that statement when they fought. Zetsu said he cudn't believe that SASUKE BROKE TSUKUYOMI

tell me where it says genjutsu from the shariingan works on the rinnegan the rinnegan is a more powerful genjutsu so its more likely it doesnt work besides you admitted nagato with his paths would win and nagato has to be alive to use his paths so you just said hes better

Go read ur manga! Itachi said it was Tsukuyomi. 'In Tsukuyomi, 1 second is 72 hours of torture'. U really need 2 go nd read ur manga
he told them 2 close their eyes becuz itachi can get either one of them under it. Not all of them. Where did u get tht from. Also never in any of those situations were there 6 individuals there.
