Kakashi vs Orochimaru

uh orochimaru went toe to toe with naruto in kyuubi 4 tails mode with out his arms. uh i dont think kakashi would last in that fight. im sorry Oro is a sannin for a reason. kakashi is great and all but his low chakra reserves really sets him back.

Ya but Kakashi has gotten much stronger, and when i think about how easily Sasuke beat Oro without MS i dont know why Kakashi wudnt

i say kakashi bc he foghut well aginst sasuke and i think sasuke is stonger than oro in the main time u_u
I think Kakashi would beat Oro, as long as the fight didn't go over 15-30 minutes of actual fighting, also depending on the distance between them.
Long distance - Oro has the edge here due to summons, and to the time that it would take kakashi to close the distance. This is where Oro MIGHT be able to use Edo Tensei, which would need to be prepped ahead of time.
Medium distance - Kakshi has said to Naruto [when they were chasing Deidara] that he is a medium distance specialist. Kaskashi has the edge here with his MS. His sharingan will allow him to copy and defend against Oro's jutsus, and he could summon his nin dogs, which would be useful at this ditance, or in close range.
Close range - Kakashi has the edge here also. Strategy is as important as ninjutsus and taijutsu here. From what we have seen throughout the series, Kakashi is a better close range fighter than Oro. Oro and Kakashi plan well, although Kakashi has an affinity for planning quickly in battle, where Oro likes to plan in advance. Kakashi's chidori can't miss killing Oro when he uses it, or else Oro could counter atack and win.
We don't actually know all of each of Oro's and Kakashi's techs, but we do know that a lot of techs take time to use and/or prepare to use, which means that Kakashi needs to stay close to medium distance to Oro in order to increase his chances of winning. Oro seems to prefer fighting at longer distances, so that he can see how his opponent reacts, as well as being able to use the time that his opponent needs to close the distance to use other jutsus.
The longer the battle goes on, the less chance Kakashi has to win, since he does have less chakra than Oro. Kakashi plans like Shikamaru, though not as well or as quickly. Oro tends to plan in advance, as seen with his body switch jutsu, and his attack on Konoha-all planned long ahead of the events themselves.

guys i knw this has nothing at all to do with this thread and its something that was to long ago, but i need a quick answer. if u remember in naruto episode 83(not shippuden) when kisame was talking to itachi. At the beginning of the conversation when kisame said that he cannot........ ,is it to( capture the kyuubi alone or fight jiraiya on his own) I think its the first one cuz itachi said that if they were combined and even if they got more men the outcome would still be their defeat
If j-man wasn't there I think they could have taken Naruto because THEN he wasn't as experience as he is now. And they both were referring to fighting J-man on his own and Itachi said at their best they could kill him but at the cost of their own lives then he said even with more people the outcome will be the same with them dying or losing.
orochimaru would win, BUT if Tsunade hadnt poisoned Jiraiya he would've died in the fight you are mentioning, and remember he ran away from both that fight and the one against the four tails. But he did run from both of those fights and if he took on kakashi he would definitely kill kakashi. I just dont think the reasons you used have anything to do with anything.

I wud give u strong facts. Oro is always loses against a Sharingan user. Meanin he is weak against genjutsu n Kakashi has sharingan. Do u know why dey call him d copy ninja? Cos he wud copy ALL of Orochimau's techniques(Orochimaru has n Kekkei Genkai) n don't forget he has Kamui n since they are fghtin inn leaf forest i'm sure Kakshi wud know his ay around there since Oro hasn't been ther in a long time

Um do you know how many jutsus of Oro's kakashi could copy? Probably not even a quarter.
How many of Oro's jutsus are able to be copied?
Not IWR, not any of his snake jutsus, not the kusanagi sword, nothing that he had to experiment to gain, nothing that was out of Kakashi's skill range(well he could copy it but not use it), nothing that required more chakra then kakashi has, none of the sealing jutsu, nothing that required an element that Kakashi doesn't have(wind and fire and Oro at least has wind).
So yeah not very much of Oro's stuff is actually able to be copied, basic jutsus yeah but there is a reason Oro only uses forbidden jutsu. It is so powerful because not many people have the ability to use it, or it is too dangerous to the user as well but Oro is a boss and can take it.
EDIT: Oh and Oro is not weak against the sharingan he is weak against genjutsu, something kakashi has showed no real skill in. Sasuke sucks at genjutsu too, only Itachi and Madara have any real skill at it.
The only reason sasuke beat Oro was because Oro tried to take over his body, Kakashi would never get that chance.
Maybe Oro does have that weakness but Sasuke and especially not kakashi don't have access to the same abilities that Itachi did.
