i think draegod is right. yes he was sick, but obviously it didnt limit itachi that much. he is a good bit faster now, but he didnt suddenly become the god of the shinoby world just because he isnt sick anymore. if you compare his fight against bee with sasuke's and consider that sasuke was weakened when he fought bee, it still looks like their speed is about equal.

actually that's not true anymore

no one said he was gonna be god just better than he was with sickness but the thing is we did not even see him fight much he did one or 2 fire style jutsu so how can you say that he seems the same.

EVERYONE has a Limit......Sickness decreases your limit.

this is my point he was suffering he was actually dying when he was racing but he still wasn't limited and this was just one example there other athlete that do this and actually die but there not limited.

dude this not something the disease he has is serious he was coughing up blood, could not move as fast or anything this is not a non-fatal disease it is one that is fatal and was gonna kill him.

ok dude lets tell a cancer patient to get up and play soccer lets see how good he is with that and science has never proven that ppl overcome everything just by willpower. Dude it is ok to accept things when you are wrong it is no big deal just realize that what you are saying does not make sense, i don't mean to offend you but dude it is really not correct then by what you are saying everyone can be better from disease by willpower, that is just wrong.

Illnes and Diesease dont affect you Mentally

It affects you PHISICALLY.

It dosent matter how strong your willpower is, If Your losing Blood cells CONSTANTLY you WILL die no matter how much you wanna live.

Its not like your will power regenerates blood cells.

although it might give you like a temporary boost in energy, but it dosent give life

Itachi was not 18-20 yrs old when he massacred the clan but was between 12-16 yrs old.

As you can see their Itachi was about 4-6 yrs old so that was the gap between them. The night of the massacre Sasuke was roughly 7-8 yrs old as he just started in the Konoho academy, which makes Itachi about 13-14 yrs old.

As the main point in topic goes, the reason why people states Itachi isn't at full is due to his illness which was mention (not much) in the manga. It could have been due to MS, something with Danzou seal or etc.

If you fight someone that is ill a win is automatically in your name as the person will not be at his/her full strength or in the mind set of the battle/fight. This is more common for that person to lose. It's not always the case but it is most times.

Itachi never spammed MS much he only gained blindness in his battle with Sasuke due to over using MS as he wanted to take Sasuke all the way and either way he was going to die there. In the battle even Zetsu states how strong Itachi is and how it seems he isn't fighting at the lvl he should be. This states a lot considering he took Sasuke who used sharingan and Oro curse to the limit where he couldn't fight anymore but Itachi could still go.
