Wow, when we talk about itachi in his prime, we mean when he's not sick, NOT his eyes, his eyes is not the cause of his sickness, he was ill of something else.

Therefore the ONLY reason he lived THAT long is because he was Prelonging his life with medications, otherwise he wouldve been dead of his sickness.

Had had to make sure he lived long enough to die in front of Sasuke when Sasuke Got Strong.

A Healthy Itachi is an Itachi Thats not Sick, (For Example) Say if you had Aids in real life thats basically what he had, But the only reason he lived that long is because Medication Extended his life a little.

And since he uses Sharingan Almost ALL the time ,even when he's not in battle, He CONSTANTLY consuming chakra, and damaging his eyes.He mastered it at 13 and died at like 20 or 21. He overused his Sharingan, Yet he was STILL able to surround the WHOLE battlefield with Amaterasu, and maintain Susano'o for like 7 mins, PLus he even REACTIVATED it twice, EVEN though he was sick.

So a healthy itachi would prolly be able to do 3 times as much as he did if not more.

he didnt master ms at age 13! dont know where you got that info from...

his health is irrelevant if he cant see correct??? fact is, he was going blind on top of the sickness and the sickness had nothing to do with the ms. so what you say about the health means nothing when it comes to the ms. yes it may have to do with his stamina and endurance but vision wise? he was about to go blind..

@arv993 is the only person who is making itachi look "good", how bout some of you other tip ryders go to him for advice and regroup. he seem to be the smarter fan out of the bunch!

but whos to say in that encounter he even had susanno let alone the sacred weapons his susanoo possessed. and full control over the susasnoo aswell..

But at that point he was 17-18. He had already been the Anbu Captain 5 years ago, 5 years ago. He had his MS for 5 years and already had Shisui's eye. He had already taken down Orochimaru + Deidara and Kisame thought he was stronger than him. He was an S-rank missing nin with mastery of Tsukuyomi

dude in the manga it never stated that itachi was going out of sight, it was just illness that caused him to die, he did not overuse his eyes like sasuke did.

again i never said he was weak or not powerful. your thinking to much into what im saying..

all what you listed is irrelevant! oru didnt go full power when they fought, deidara was playing around when he lost aswell. itachi was playing with them, but my point is those encounters was childsplay and doesnt matter..

fact is, he was going blind and was about to lose his site.. whether he was sick or not is irrelevant. and if anyone says he mastered all 3 ms techs at age 13, they are serius noobs and need to let go of itachis... peanuts! (not talking bout you in specific..)

and with the 3 tomoe he wasnt that powerful compared to the techs ms gave him tsukiyomi, amertasu, susanno... so that is irrelevant aswell

you are completely right about everything other than deva path is faster than itachi, naruto in sage mode was as fast as deva path and sasuke is substantially faster than naruto if you seem in raikage's fight he kept in the beggining when A was going slow and itachi is faster than sasuke you can see that in sasuke vs itachi and he was even sick then too, itachi is pretty quick not nearly as good as naruto or A but pretty quick and definitely faster than deva path.

the reason why I say the deva path is faster than Itachi is because the deva path was able to keep running away from the 4 tails and 6 tails.

There is no such thing as a "full health itachi".When itachi first got MS he was a rookie so of course his tecniques weren't nearly as good as before he died.Those things comes with experiance and knowledge, which means that itachi needed to not only practise but also try it out in real battles.So, a rookie ms itachi did not e.g. have a developed susano, and he might not even have/ posses the legendary weapons(and when he did he was already going blind).

For all we know his sickness could have worsened the condition of his eyes as a symptom of his disease. Like when one has the flu, their eyes may become watery, they can become irritated and strained (you tire quicker), there can also be pain in the muscles around the eye and that can effect one's vision

Also remember when Sasuke used Susanoo at the Kage meeting, he said "every cell in my body hurts" from that we can take that a strong BODY is required in addition to healthy eyes. Because if his body becomes drained more easily, he'll tire quicker as well and that could result in double vision or eye strain.

Not to mention that when one's body is weaker they're more susceptible to disease and infection. This means that Itachi may have contracted viral infections which caused problems with his vision

Orochimaru couldnt even harm itachi, he owned him in like 40 secs, Itachi is the Reason Orochimaru Left Akatsuki.
He didnt even move but Owned Deidara in like 30 secs

And i didnt say he mastered the MANGEKYOU SHARINGAN, I said he Mastered Sharingan, 3 tomie. so dont put words in my mouth

Yea he didmaster all 3 MS Techs, But if he wasent ill he could of extended the use of Susano'o And AMaterasu,.

So if he wasent sick, ALL his moves are like 3 times stronger in duration and power. You seen how much a SICK itachi can do, So imagine itachi without his sickness holding him back

ok good point forgot about that i thought itachi had no vision problem but u proved me wrong, but what you are talking about in thread is when he was fully powered and that was in part 1 where he did not have much side effects from the illness and had his eyesight being normal, it was during like his time when he fought kakashi.

dude to be honest i like itachi but that was a weak argument a flu, watery eyes come on man most likely his eyes are not greatly affected by the illness.

Yes itachi was going blind and his vision and his reflexes was all messed up. You heard Zetsu right?
You can see how sasuke looked all Blurry to him, thats what itachi was seeing.

but I only used flu as an example, you could substitute it with cholera, ebola, malaria, or aids. not to mention certain strains/types of flu are deadlier than others e.g. spanish flu

I simply provided ways in which a sickness or disease can effect one's body, specifically their eyes.
