I can see sage mode vs naruto going but even then naruto loses by a little becos pain never intended to kill naruto during his invasion if he has RM mode he can win against nagato and help others but that is no good and Itachi is too powerful he can use amaterasu and kill so many ppl because he can make like a gound of full of black flames so he can use it for a while and ppl like guy and kakshi no matter how good they are can't beat tosuka sword which fast and seals away the ppl it hits and nagato is also ood becaos she seems decently smart like how she planned on killing madara so she can definitely take some of the medium to high skill ninjas with relative ease. The only way konoha i can see winning is if they use good tactics and strategy against the three of them and shikaku and shikamaru could come up with something and can stop ppl with their shadow techs in which time they can take the offensive and that should never be underestimated however konoha is in a bad spot wit this fight and most likely gonna lose than win. I think naruto needs kyubi mode and that would even things up because that is huge powerboost but without unlikely konoha is gonna win.

This depends on if it is a surprise attack like Nagato's was. Konoha didn't know they were being attacked for the longest time and then their first priority was to rescue citizens.
If Itachi, Nagato, Konan lead a covert attack on Konoha then they Konoha loses big time.
Naruto already lost to Pain and if they were actually trying to kill him then he would lose again and be killed. It would never get to the point where he releases the nine-tails. Plus at the beginning of the Naruto-Nagato fight Deva Path wasn't even in it and his abilities are the best.
Itachi can take out so many people on his own even without MS. I don't think he would even need to use MS unless he fought Naruto or a combination of Guy, Kakashi, and someone else. Plus the fact that he is a genjutsu master and it being a surprise attack means he could put them in a genjutsu and kill them and they wouldn't even begin to think they were in a genjutsu.
Konan could take out some people but she has always been the weakest member of Akatsuki. She is really there to take out stragglers and because she has a powerful friend.

i think konaha would win because naruto could go into sage mode but when hes pushed to his limit and sees his friends being hurt he would unleash the nine tails so maybe when hes causing destruction he will wipe out konan and maybe itachi or seriously injure him so kakashi can finish him off with his MS?

konoha= team gai,kakashi,tsunade,jiraya,danzo,Naruto sage mode vs konan itachi nagato jiraya & tsunade take on nagato or itachi,naruto SM and kakashi beats itachi or nagato and team gai and danzo can kick konans ass.I have put them in groups to make sure they win so what do you think

dunno...this is a REAL TOUGHIE, i mean remember tsunade if she uses her secret tech that makes her immortal in battle (heals wounds instanly used in sannin deadlock part 1 naruto) then that might bring a bit of difficulty, and remember the other kickass jounins we dont know about i mean they arent jounins for no reason, gai 8 gates, i can go on... but on the other side nagato and itachi well....nuff said innit loool.

You know whats sad, how everybody is sayn. KONAN and NAGATO defeated the leaf village all by themselves, actually Konan didnt do nothing (but i think shes incredibly strong) and naruto came at the VERY last moment, and alot of good ninjas where not in the village, if ALL the ninjas were in the village, nagato, konan, and itachi would get pwned, yall talk about the pain that has the iron tail but he had help from the other pain to to attract them to the needle, ima break it down, rocklee and guy will handle the iron pain, the soul absorber pain, and the jutsu obsorbing pain, u dont need nobody else for that, choji and his dad to take down the summons, and matter fact lets not forget the anbu black ops who jutsus are ****n crazy and the intergator, and tsunadae........ hell naw, itachi loose, i think neji and hinata can take on the forcefield painn since they have similar moves, palm roattion and might push, then get somebody like sakura to deliver a final punch, tsunadae will **** konan up, konan is very strong so she will use paper bombs, so i say the anbu black ops help with her, then u got naruto SM, and Kakashi, shikamaru, konohamru, and sai, itachi is gone

Dude if Itachi goes Sasano he's gonna own everybody and during that time, the only person who could dodge his Amaterasu is Lee and Guy, and he has that big ass sword. Dude Itachi pwns, he ****ing invincible.He also has the yato mirror that blocks any and all attacks.It would take the whole leaf village to kill him
I say that Pein/Konan/Itachi win because even if Konoha is prepared they are still prepared. Let's not forget that their coming to do mass destruction this time not searching for someone. And please quit overrating Itachi and Unerrating Konan. She has never been the weakest Akatsuki member. You would have to trap her in oil before you can attemp to use Fire Jutsu against or she will defeat with a paper barrage because that's how strong she is.

Ok well actually that is Hidan but everyone else is more powerful than her and in a real fight if neither had been preparing for weeks, Konan loses to every Akatsuki member except maybe Hidan because he is retarded. And you are forgetting that while they were searching for someone they also were killing pretty much everyone as well. And a few of the leaf's best were gone from the village at that time. Team Guy, Naruto, Hiashi Hyuga, etc.
Now I've already given reasons why I think Itachi, Nagato, and Konan would win if it was a covert attack and why they would lose if it was a head on attack. Numbers would be the overall determining factor here as Itachi doesn't have enough chakra to fight a village and Pain can get overwhelmed by speed and numbers. Konan would be able to take out some but there are alot of leaf shinobi who are on her level or above.
Is danzo there or not becos he could make a difference with all those sharingans and shisui's ability. But if Itachi takes out the elites of konoha id on't think it is too hard for nagato to take out a lot of fodder ninja especially since he has chibaku and ultimate shinra tensei or whatever but yea head on i say is not completely stupid and is not like smart ppl like Itachi and nagato's style and due to that it seems they are more likely to win than lose. This is sorta unfair match up actually because nagato is healthy, so is Itachi and that makes them really formidable while naruto their main hope is reduced to sage mode i sense some bias from this thread. And just another point towards konoha's favor is shikamaru and shikaku who can help konoha not probably imobolize ppl like the paths or itachi but their intelligence is an important factor in this battle. I also think konan needs some recognition becos she did set up a good plan to kill madara and would have succeeded if it weren't for the izangi
