Since you mentioned Jiraiya why not add him into the mix,afterall the thread starter added dead itachi and nagato and konan.
Ok we should probably set some kind of point in the story because if jiraiya is alive that means noone in konoha has a clue about Pain's powers because they didn't have jiraiya's fight to reveal it ahead of time.
Choji and his clan can take care of the summons and kill the summoning path, with the help of some of naruto's frog summons.
is this with his current butterfly wings and stuff then maybe, remember the dog multiples itself and not even gamabunta or kyuubi mode naruto has killed it solo so unless jiraiya is taking it out for them i don't think choji and his clan using brute force is going to stop it while dealing with 6 others including the giant rhino and other ones.
Neji, Sakura, and Tenten take out the asura path with close range and weapons.It will be like sakura is fighting a weaker sasori.
neji sakura and tenten are going to take out the android path with missiles, giant lasers, chakra booster boots and the knife tail? i don't think it has chakra points like a human so i doubt neji's taijutsu would shut it down, sakura would be able to destroy it with her punch but only if she can get into close range, and when has tenten's weapons ever helped xd
The Ninjutsu absorbing path gets pwned by Guy and anybody really...noone else is really needed.
Only if Guy was there, if we are going with a time before the invasion then they won't have info on each path so chances are guy will be fighting itachi or another path like you said before, and the paths won't be all split up miles apart so even if guy figures out he should go kill this specific path, the animal path can summon him away from guy or he can get other paths like deva to work together.
The soul absorbing path gets handled by Ino,her dad, and konoharmaru and maybe iruka.
2 paths can steal souls, both naraka (who can do it with his questioning) who can also heal other paths, or human path who can instantly read someones entire mind then tear their souls out (which he did to shizune In Front of ino and her dad and sakura) and would ino and her dad's mind powers work on Nagato, who can apparently control people with his chakra like he tried to do on naruto?
the outer path has no real strength besides being guarded by the other paths, once they are dead the outer path gets killed by a villager with a pitchfork xd.
well it can't be seen unless naraka path grabs a hold of someone so they can't even attack it, konohamaru watched naraka path tear someones soul out with it and couldn't see it himself so thats easy to figure out xd
Now its just Itachi,Deva path and konan;
Konan gets it from Sai and his ink creatures,maybe some assistance from kiba the human paper shredder.
Thats all select groups vs single paths, nagato's biggest strength is his linked vision and teamwork of the different powers so it wouldn't be any of those konoha ninja group A kills Path A because they'd be working together, deva path would probably be the only one who'd be alone of the 6 paths because hes the strongest and even then if someones giving him real problems like kakashi and his group then a 2nd or 3rd path would just come.
Itachi Gets ganged up on and over whelmed by Guy,Lee,Yamato,Shikimaru,Neji and Shino.
thats assuming guy and lee havn't already used their gates to overwhelm Pain at some point, if they have then they face running out of time on keeping them open and running out of power before itachi is worn out. the others are back up and wouldn't stand up to itachi otherwise.
Deva path gets blitzed by Naruto,Jiraiya,Tsunade,Kakashi,Hiashi,Ma,Pa,Gamabunta,other toad summons,Katsuyu,choza,shikaku,inoichi,and danzo lol.
lol now danzo is fighting xd xd xd yeah right, he'd never help in the fight he'd rather let everyone else fight and die so he could come out as hokage in the aftermath, same reason he wasn't helping at the invasion. and If jiraiya is alive then none of them know about deva's powers or the other paths so who knows if any of them would even get that far to get deva by himself and keep them dead before nagato could revive the fallen paths (or itachi/konan i'd assume)
But if that many people were able to get to deva after everything else, whats stoping nagato from doing a encore of his destruction of konoha with shinra tensei, or a even bigger chibaku tensei at the start and crushing everyone in a small moon.
Oh yeah i thought i put kakashi in there.....But even without guy and lee would be too fast for itachi in Susanoo mode....ino they cant cause any damage(at least i dont think so),but both cant stay in these forms for too long even if at 100%....so when both are drained Sai and shino attack Itachi and Shino absorbs his remaining chakra and sai finishes him all cool like.
Itachi can block lightning, i don't think guy or lee will get through susanoo and even if itachi can't catch them, their teammates are sitting ducks to the sword, sai and shino aren't fast enough to avoid attacks from susanoo imo. lol@sai finishing itachi off
