cmon guys its no question that minato would win, Jeriah was a great ninja, but think about this : 1.minato was made the 4th hokage while their was a third 2.Jiriah was still alive at the time.3.Jeriah was surpased by minato, he thought he was the the child who would do what he could not, save the world.4. Minato has never lost a battle he defeatd everyone even madara. 5. Riakage thought he could not be surpassed.6.He was feared by every shinobi alive in all the other nations. This man is the legend of the whole anime, their is still alot that we do not know but,minato was special. In one night took on madara and the kubi and won.

Counter Time!!!---- Oru was suppose to become the 4th hokage till saru saw he was a bit sick, jman was suppose to become the 4th hokage but declined it because he dont want to be..he also thought the child that would change the world was aslo nagato and naruto so dont bring that up pls, he defeated a weak tobi (fact) that didnt even fight back. raikage thought he could not be surpassed by speed not overalll ninja, jman and alot other ninjas are feared world wide more then him (3 sannin, white fang, A & B, all kages, Kin Gin Bros, kakashi, 7 swordsman, etc etc. so whats your point?).
there are far better legends that did way more then him. but you are not a true naruto fan i can tell and do not realise this. he did not win against tobi and the kyubi, who is dead and who is alive?????...... plus tobi didnt even have to use izanagi on minatos weak all powerful rasengan.lmao wake up kid, and reread the whole manga pls..... smh
its crazy how there is all these minato fanboys trying to say minato is the strongest ninja. what u fanboys dont understand is when jman and other ninjas say minato, or the 3rd is the strongest ninja or whatever, i dont think they knew about pain, madara,itachis abilities. so yea exactly when jman spoke of minato it was way before pain evr came into the show. and all who said minato defeated madra, yes he did but ur forgetting its a weak madara he fought, not the same madara that the 1st fought= most gifted ninja from the uchiha= stronger than itachi, sasuke

Wrong. Think of it this way: Jiraiya couldn't beat Pain but Naruto could and Naruto couldn't beat Madara but Minato would've if it wasn't for him having to protect Kushina and Naruto along with the rest of the village. Therefore Minato would beat Jiraiya.

Um I'm not so sure if there are more people that are feared more than Minato. It is obvious you aren't being impartial at all because you hate Minato. You just listed a bunch of people that in no way can be compared to Minato. Kakashi and the seven swordsmen? Really? And every kage is feared more than Minato? we saw him boss over Bee and A at the same time. I never saw the Sannin get a flee on sight ordered about them. You just hate Minato because Kishi made him too strong and so you bash him wherever possible.
So like you tell other people go read the manga because you are insulting people when you are saying ridiculous things and posting lies.
Unless you want to be civil and realistic please don't respond and waste my time. I read the manga, probably more than anyone else on here and I know almost everything about it so don't tell me to "go read the manga"

in the end i think minato would win though, simply because of FTG and because j-mans sage mode was incomplete and took too long to activate.

pain,madara, sasuke, naruto,itachi,>minato=overated. i like minato and hes in my top 5 favs but he overated to much. ftg is overated, i think narutos speed is better when it comes to battling cause if minato fought someone like pain who can control weapons if thrown at him, he would get killed, and from what i know, all pains bodies keep their eyes open all the time and not blink so they could see minato if he used ftg and avoid it, which makes it hard for minato to place a mark on them. with narutos speed, he needs no kunais or to place marks. i even believe the raikage would put up a better fight against pain than minato would
