Artemis is very tall and slim. She has long brown hair which is normally up in a
messy bun of some kind, with eyes to match the color of her hair. She has fair skin and wears a white tunic with silver sandals, in bad weather she'll wear a black hooded cloak. She also always has with her, her silver bow and arrows.
Personality:
Artemis does not consort with or bow to the rule of men (man hater). Violence for itself is abhorrent to her, yet she was swift to deal out punishment to offenders, especially those who threatened or harass women. Artemis has a love for animals and all nature. She can also be quite stubborn and bull headed at times. Artemis is very unforgiving and cold, although she can be very loving as long as you live up to her expectations. She also hates her name she feels it is very boyish and prefers to be called by her nick name Art.

Background Info.
History:
Artemis is named after the Greek Goddess of the Hunt. She was born with a twin brother Apollo in Konoha. She and her brother were very close in there early childhood and both were very protective of their mother Lily, as for their father, he left their mother the day he found that Lily was pregnant and was never heard of again. Unfortunately, eight years after their birth their mother died mysteriously, the grief and sorrow driving Artemis and Apollo apart. Since then Artemis has not seen nor heard from her brother and has become a lone wanderer. She does not trust anyone, especially men, only does she feel comfortable in natures company. Artemis began to hate her own name as her hate for men grew stronger; Artemis sounded to manly in her opinion, and so she began to call herself Art. To this day most know her as Art rather than Artemis.
At the age of 16 Art met a boy named Akio from the Sand Village. He was quite charming and very persistent considering Art is very cold and dismissive to men. Eventually Akio and Art would meet to spar each other and they both soon had small feelings for the other. But Art would never admit it. On the down side Arts brother (Apollo) found his sister who he had been desperately searching for. Once Apollo had found out about Akio he challenged the boy to a fight (without Art knowing). Apollo did not kill Akio but knocked him out and beat him to the point where Art did not recognize him. He then found his sister and told her that the man he had beaten up raped and killed several women and he deserved to be killed for his actions. Art was some-what sceptical of her brother but in the end believed that he was family and would have no reason to lie to her. So from a distance she took her silver arrows and shot at the unknown man. Once she knew he was dead Art moved in closer to look at the evil man that she had killed. When she began to search the body she found familiar things that she knew belonged to Aiko. Soon she put together who this man was, when she turned to ask her brother why he would want this- he was gone. From that day Art has sworn she will find and kill her brother, and trains to do so.
