Itachi vs "xyz"

whether you hate him, love him or love to make fun of Itachi fanboys (me :3 lol) you have to admit Itachi Uchiha is extremely powerful. beating Orochimaru, Deidara, Kakashi etc in less than seconds without lifting a finger (unless he lifted the finger to use genjutsu), and massacring the whole Uchiha clan Itachi has proven to be one of the strongest in Narutoverse.

but thats the thing. which other characters can actually beat Itachi 1on1? this isnt a "vs" thread. its a thread where you just list names of every character you think can defeat Itachi. obviously you dont need to name Sage of Six Paths, but any characters from the manga, fillers, movies etc.

if you dont think anybody can beat Itachi than you can say that too.

just use all the knowledge you know about Itachi and everybody else. the strongest we've seen Itachi when he was sick and agaisnt Sasuke so i understand if everybody has a different opinion of Itachi's max potential when at full health. but please dont say "we never saw Itachi at full power" or you will be flammed

the people i think could beat Itachi:

Naruto, Sasuke, Jiraiya, Pain, Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato, Konan, Deidara, Sasori, Kabuto, Madara, Yamato, Kakashi, Guy, Bee, Zetsu, Kin Gin, Raikage, Gaara, Onoiki..

edit: some people are being **** about the "1on1" thing. if you want to include teams agaisnt Itachi like Kin Gin or Ino-Shika-Cho (seniors) thats cool too. be reasonable though lol. like saying "the 7 Mist Swordsmen can beat Itachi" or "the Akatsuki can beat Itachi" is a little unreasonable.

Madara and Hashirame (the first) will beat him for sure. I think if the 3rd wouldn't be that old he would've beat him too and Minato would be a draw. But those are my thoughts.

agreed. i could see Kabuto hiding far far away and summoning an army of Edo Tensi to attack Itachi. for some reason i could also see Gaara beating Itachi, burrowing him under 1000 feet under the earth or something.

Naruto and Sasuke with their new power ups should be strong enough to beat Itachi in theory.

Hashirama and Madara are given.

Minato and Pain should also be able to beat him.

when hashirama fought the 3rd i wasn't impressed by anything. naruto hasn't really perfected the kyuubi mode yet. the only difference between the ms and the ems is that he doesn't go blind so sasuke is just as powerful as he was at danzo. pain might put up a challenge but itachis' speed and brains should be good enough to overcome him escpecialy since he gets weaker the more pains you take out. jiraiya in sage mode will probably do the best if itachi allows him to get in it that is.

Hashirama has defeated Madara, the strongest Uchiha in history, who had EMS and Kyuubi in his arsenal.

the 3rd was the best Hokage in history.

true Naruto hasnt perfected Kyuubi Mode but we dont know how far he's gotten. he could at least touch Itachi and crush him with Kyuubi arms

Sasuke will have Itachi's eye powers with EMS added to his own powers. means Itachi level Tsukiyomi, and probably Itachis Tosuka Sword and Yata Shield added to the Crossbow weapon his Sasunoo has.

Pain would definently beat Itachi imo. too much arguement for Pain. but Itachi wouldnt be able to figure out Pains secrets, at least not to the extent Jiraiya did because Jiraiaya 1. train Nagato, Yahiko and Konan and 2. fought all the Pain bodies previously. those 2 things greatly helped Jiraiya to figure out Pains secret and power.

your assuming Itachi would know to prevent Sage Mode.

I understand that fanboys believe Itachi can beat almost anyone, but you're almost doing the opposite now.

First of all, we don't know enough about zetsu, except that he could have lost to naruto (tobi told him that he is not a front line fighter). KinGin are actually 2 people so it's not 1on1. Kakashi was already beaten by Itachi and we know Itachi is faster than kakashi because it was stated in the manga. It would be a win for Itachi. Yamato is not stronger than Kakashi. Deidara was ownd by Itachi and most likely would be again. We don't know much about Kabuto, except that he can summon and that's not so much 1on1, it more like 100 on 1 since Kabuto can decide to not control some shinobi and they would still function.

I agree that the rest are debatable.
