How can people actually say Raikage beat Sasuke?

The fight was one sided, I agree.

But Sasuke always had full susano'o in his arsenal and didn't use it because he was stubborn. We know that for a fact (he used it 10-20 seconds after the fight with raikage and he only used some ribs vs Raikage).

But to say that Raikage raped sasuke that is too much. If a person is dumb enough to keep punching a wall until his hand breaks, that doesn't mean he beat the wall, it just means that the person is stupid. And someone that stupid doesn't deserve to be called a winner. Think of it this way : Raikage decided to try and use his arm to defeat one of the strongest ninjutsu in the naruto universe (amaterasu) and a defense that survived his first attack (don't recall the name).

"Because I knew you'd learn to use it someday, because you were my son"
"I had a very good reason for it"
"Someone was hiding in the shadows controlling the nine fox's every move"
"He too(referring to pain as Naruto is fighting pain at the moment) was a shinobi of unfathomable power"
"No one could ever face him without very unique set of abilities"

Now this is what Madara said about himself to the Tsuchikage(Ōnoki) at the kage meeting about the state he's in, the very same state the forth hokage could not defeat as mentioned in the dialog above. (chapter 467 pages 9-10)

Tsuchikage(Ōnoki) - "It certainly is a shock to hear that Uchiha Madara still lives"
Tsuchikage(Ōnoki) - "But why would man of your calibre resort to these roundabout tactics, surely with your power you could accomplish anything you want"

Madara - "The wounds from my battle with the first hokage, Hashirama, were too deep... right now, I am powerless"
Madara - "I am nothing more than empty shell of my former self"

Madara was defeated by the First hokage and he does have very unique skill sets, wood jutsu for one AND IT'S STILL UNIQUE TO THIS DAY by the way(Yamato doesn't count).

Also what is Kishi's meaning of "dead". The First hokage's soul is sealed, maybe that's not considered dead like Jiraiya given Kabuto hasn't re-spawned him.




So let’s recap

In the interview people think Kishi is saying the Forth / Third > The First
In the Manga Kishi seems to be saying First > Madara > Forth.

Do you think Kishi is contradicting himself on purpose?

Also here is another point about that statement. The interview came out sometime after the "death" of the Third hokage, and Kishi says the Forth and the Third are about even. Do you think he's talking about the Third in his prime or the way we saw him fight during his old age when he died?
Please note his nick name is God of Shinobi and this isn't from villagers it comes from the other kages at the time of his prime. MASSIVE difference
