[Theory] Itachi's Gift To Naruto was a way to Unlock the Rinnegan?? Perhaps?

I agree with an earlier post. The stage is set. The battle between Sasuke/Naruto will be Physical Energy vs Spiritual Energy. Yin vs Yang. Senju vs Uchiha.

Naruto already has his ultimate yang(Physical Energy) powers. Nine tailed fox Chakra Mode.

Sasukes ultimate yin power is probably EMS. But you can't be sure yet. The page on Yin Release really reminds me of Izanagi. Izanagi seems like the ultimate spiritual power though. Yin release is techniques, based on the spiritual energy that governs the imagination, can be used to create form out of nothingness. Sounds like Izanagi to me. But maybe Izanagi is just ONE of those spiritual techniques.

Izanagi uses both physical energy and spiritual energy. Sasuke using Izanagi would unbalance the theory of Yin vs Yang (Sasuke vs Naruto) since Izanagi is infact a Yin-Yang release (Yin affecting the imagination, and Yang makes it real). Sasukes ultimate power is probably something he gains from his EMS, but I don't think it's Izanagi.

Well.. i currenly believe in two theories regarding the gift Itachi gave to Naruto...

Theory 1 : This seems to be the most widely accepted theory and which i support too... that when the time naruto battles sasuke and itachi shows up(somehow, either from a genjutsu or some sort of seal like minato did) and convince sasuke.. to go against madara.. and the tell sasuke the most accurate version of the uchiha massacre..

But while reading another thread "my thoery on why naruto might unlock the sharingan".....
A person came up with an interesting thoery saying that 'Maybe Itachi gift was the same as Madara to Nagato? A way to awaken the Rinnegan?, at a critical point in a battle?'

What i thought was...
This could end up being a good theory.. but there is a plot hole.. well you see madara claims he gave nagato the rinnegan.. madara has the EMS.. itachi too has it.. and both madara and itachi are geniuses, so it could work itachi doing the same thing to naruto..(another supporting point is that nagato and naruto both were uzumaki.. and to add to that naruto has the body of the so6p).. but we dont know were sure if madara really did give or was he lying.. in the manga it is clear that nagato was distantly related to the sage in some way and the rinnegan has reawakened through him..
if whatever madara did really give.. how did he.. and why didnt he keep it to himself.. did he give to only take it back again??

Nice theory ,have to go with theory 1,but i still think Naruto has the power of the rinnegan.I think you would have to have a large charka supply in order to use the rinnegan,and that is one of the reasons madara chose Nagato.I believe Nagato sealed the power of the rinnegan around Naruto's neck and that is where the necklace came from.

itachi doesnt have the ems, and this is actually a nice theory but i never heard that nagato was uzumaki. the rinnengan maybe, but the sharingan...impossible. not through a genjustsu

Naruto having the rinnegan is the dumbest idea ever. First you have to have Uchiha DNA within you. I don't know how Itachi could have implanted his DNA within Naruto. Did I miss something Naruto swallowed a crow not seamen.

It would make more since if Itachi gave him the 3rd legendary item seeing as he only had 2 at the time. If it were the rinnegan why would he hide its power to use until he faces Sasuke. I would expect the new power seals up MS abilities or could bring Itachi back to Sasuke to scold him. Seeing as his words were "I hope the day comes were you will never have to use it". Itachi wants to protect the world he wouldn't have hidden the rinnegan power from Naruto. Just because its proven that a member of the Uzumaki clan can posses the power of the rinnegan doesn't mean that Naruto can. Nagato could have been born with the power because of Madara.

Naruto theoretically can posses the rinnegan seeing as he posses the Uzumaki power and the kyuubi's chakra but I don't think he will ever. If Naruto gains the jubi's power he could gain a new doujutsu.

Do any of you people read the manga at all?

Start from the beginning and make your way to the latest chapter because you have time to waste on a dumb thread, which can be used to read the manga over.
Then when you are done make sure there can hardly be no questions to usurp the theory.

Make sure you use the search tool before even thinking about putting a theory forward.

And Itachi wasn't blind, his eyes were blurry. So ALMOST blindness is what I will call that.

And he had MS not EMS. If he had taken Sasuke's eyes, he would have been granted with EMS... Not sure if he would get it though 'cuz Sasuke didn't have MS that time.

My most possible guess...
2xMS = EMS.

If 2 normal Sharingans would be combined with 2 MS-s then it would be kinda weird... Semi-EMS lol.

izanagi only uses yin release not both in and yang. yang release was the power that the SO6P used to breath life into the creations that yin created. so izanagi can't be both. but that is just what i think.

oh where oh where did the reading go? oh where oh where did it go? i seriously stopped reading at page 6. If you take the chance to read the thread maybe you will realize 4 pages ago that yes it has been pointed out that itachi does not have ems. guys even though some cant think outside the box you dont need to abuse the poor child for just speed reading the manga and after chapter 5 putting in their 2 bits. it's their true belief and thoughts again dont bash em. some theories just made so much sense it was worth taking the time to read it truly was. naruto has worked extreamly hard at what he does and its been shown since the start of the manga/anime. so every jutsu naruto has gained has been by sheer will and hard work. so in my opinion it would kill the entire manga and hurt the viewers(that are true fans of the manga/anime) watch naruto get something he never worked for. that would pertain to sasuke side of the plot. only true thing sasuke worked really hard on was chidori. now for the thread itself....hmmmmmm.....dunno where to start. too many threads about it too many silly predictions. those that post the least seem to know more and seem to have better ideas than those that bash the thread with the same theory while driving on an endless straight road.

I thought initially that Itachis took Shishui's eyes..or he gained his unique Sharigan as a result of killing him. Since so many Uchiha's have had their eyes pimped for so many reasons...one would think that Itachi would have nothing to do with taking another's eyes. Itachi did state however that Madara has no business calling himself the strongest Uchiha and that Sasuske will surpass him. So my prediction is that Sasuske will fight madara and wipe the floor with his candy ass..get some paper, wrap it up real tight..and attempt to lay the smack down on Naruto's candy striped AzZ!!!! For the Millions..and MILLIONS...only to be disappointed by Naruto's overwhelming love...umm yeah I said it
