Neji Top Ten Potential? Neji Vs Kakashi

btw, neji is kinda strong but he is not in the top ten in the anime by far... kin-gin, kages, darui, kakashi, naruto, sasuke... all akatsuki except deidar8 in my opinion)..
even though, neji will become a important char in the end. Probably saving naruto along hinata?

1.since Deidara clay bomb are made up of chakra Neji would be a better match up against him then sasuke even tho sasuke won on a whim
2.Sasori-i would be insulted if i was Neji...Sasori has no chance, his poison darts wouldnt hit him, i've seen this movie before(Neji Vs kidomaru) and honestly i think kidomaru could beat Sasori, i think he was the weakest akatsuki member
3. Hidan-yea yea i kno he cant die but he is a close range fighter, i dnt think he would be able to land a punch, i like rock lee to beat hidan
4.kazuku-this would be somewhat a good fight but because of Neji's byakugan
i give the edge to him, Kakashi didnt find out about the hearts until it was to late if he knew then i say Kakashi wouldnt had needed naruto's help.

Man I love my job and school. All I do is work on papers and chill and play on the net.

1.Deidara fought Neji with kunai in his mouth. With that said with two hands and all that explosive clay Neji stands no chance. Yes Neji got defense but like Gaara he has to stop spinnin and Deidara would just send those micro bombs to him ez.

2. Saori would rape Neij. From close up and long range. Also Sasori isn't just poison add the 1000 dollars which Neij would have to fight. Then the sand from the 3 better hope he isn't in a sandy area. Also the 1000 arms which Neij would have to block. Then he would have to fight the real Saori which even if he did take apart could switch to another body and finsh him off. But I doubt Neij can take them all on. Saori is just as smart a Neij

4. Plain and simple battle experince and Kashi had a hard time fighting him. He told everone about his hearts. Plus he has all if not most of the elements to use against Neij. He is just as fast a Neiji too with combo attacks. Neiji isn't beating him.

Unless the byukugan develops another level than i just dont see it happening for neji.
His great strength(close range taijutsu) isn't even that great of a strength versus Kakashi.

Kakashi definitely has him in a mid range/long range fight and if he is using his MS on Neji(who isn't crazy fast to dodge from what we know) than that gives him even lower of a shot.

-Will say though Neji is badass only hoped wished byukagan would have more layers to it like sharignan-

I'm a HUGE Neji fan. He's probably my 3rd favorite character in the show. And I'm also depressed they don't show more of him instead of that crappy Shikamaru guy, but I have to admit, he can't beat Kakashi in a fair fight. Sure he may be able to hold his own for a little while, but it's only a matter of time til Kakashi finds an opening for his sharingan to turn the tides.

How could he counter Deidera's bomb? He has not elemental justu, he only uses taijutsu..

Hidan he could beat, but a lot of people could beat Hidan 1v1. Kakuzu he would have no chance against, how would he get close enough to use his Taijutsu. And sasori would beat him, I doubt Neji wuold be able to dodge all of the poison darts and things such as that. The only reason why Sakura could was because Chiyo was controlling her.

So he could beat Hidan. Honestly, no offense, but none of your arguments there made much sense. You just sound like a Neji D-rider.

I honestly don't think Neji is in Kakashi's leauge.

Here's How I see it, Madara is like the God right now (mainly speculation and reputation, and skills seen so far), Then you have the Kage, Killer Bee, and Kakashi (and other potentially top ranked shinobi from their villages who we don't care about). Naruto and Sasuke are somewhere mixed (Naruto can beat Gaara, Kakashi probably, and jounin level shinobi, same as Sasuke. Neither of them can match up to Madara yet or Tsuchi, Mizu, or Raikage). Then you have everybody else like Neji, and Shikamaru, and the other Konoha 11. They are dumb far out of the big leauges but their badass for where they're at so yeah. This is just my oppinion.

I think K Bee is like powerful too he should be moved up. Why? Because he is 8 tail and he can use massive swords all creases of his body also he gave Sasuke a run for his money. Kages should be in the same league too because some of them are powerful or at least some kages(Tsunade).

Every thing else seems right on point.

This turns into a popularity contest now. How did so many people vote for Neji? He's strong and smart, but Kakashi is just out of his league.

But let's examine this properly:

1. Kakashi is better at genjutsu
2. Kakashi is better at ninjutsu
3. Kakashi is better at taijutsu (because of the sharingan)
4. Kakashi can easily be a long range fighter, while Neji needs to be close ranged
5. Kakashi has Kamui, which Neji cannot avoid

Now let's examine how this fight can go:

Kakashi knows Neji's capabilities, so he knows his weaknesses as well. Kakashi will start off long ranged, using some attacks to wear Neji down and then use Kamui on him. Quite simple.

1.Kakashi is best at close range and i like Neji to be one of the best close range fighters so i give that edge to Neji
2.Kakashi runs out of chakra to fast, two or three big moves and he's half dead, Neji would wear him down.
3.Neji has the best Defense next to Gaara
4.Neji is a little faster as well
5.and since Neji can see chakra, all those tricks Kakashi like to do like hide bombs and chains under the ground wouldnt work

im not saying he would own Kakashi but he would win in a close fight...Neji is a jounin for a reason
