ok i got one for this.
i think my gf wants to break up with me because im leaving for a weekend next week to go to mardi gras and visit family i haven't seen since i can't even remember and i was talking to a girl i used to date and she wanted to come along since i was bringing my cousin father and best friend already and she'd never been to mardi gras before, seeing as i dated her 5 years ago i wasn't thinking of her as an ex just a old friend from school so when i told my gf she was none-too happy as you can imagine because i'd dated this chick (5 years ago, for like 3 months and she has a bf atm) so she thought i was going to cheat on her or something (which iv never done)
i thought she was overreacting, so now she thinks i think my friends are more important then her.

As for my problems, I'm not athletic. I'm more interested in being intelligent than that sort of thing. I'm wondering how to be a little more confident and have the guts to ask a girl out.

It is possible that you, for some reason may have made her feel less important in the entrireity of your relationship and she have just kept her silence about it. Now that you brought up a talk about an old realationship, she must have now found a reason to express how you make her feel. Don't confront her about that as most of the time, it is being ruled out by her subconscious mind. Show her how much you don't want to break up her and make her feel important in every little way you know. Telling her straight up about how you feel towards her, is one.

Dude; I feel sorry for you. You've got your self between a rock and a hard place, the best you can hope for now is to control the damage, maybe find out how your ex's boyfriend feels about her going with you and maybe get him to go with you, that way you eliminate the possibility of your girlfriend thinking you cheated on her, I know this sounds illogical but so does her suspicious about you (hopefully)
For future reference, try and ate more mature women FFS, what does she think, in her mind the world must spin around her and the sun rises.....
