Could itachi control his black flames like sasuke?

Yea of course itachi can control black flames like sasuke coz he was more powerful n experienced dan sasuke in genjutsu powers...
He used it first dan sasuke n he also implanted dem in sasuke's eye...from dis all we can know dat itachi can control amatarasu like sasuke///////////

I knew somebody was gonna say this exact shit, but we haven't seen Itachi do it. What does Genjutsu have to do with Amaterasu? Amaterasu is a Ninjutsu, not a Genjutsu.

Ok lets understand something- itachi was a bad ass infact Madara kinda feared him, and honnestly the story did not do much focus on itachi abilitys but if that guy can give Naruto some hidden gift and inplanted his black flames in his kid brothers eyes and was a master of genjutsu he could of did any dam thing with that Sharingan so really he was not fighting at his best itachi was the strongest second to Madara in my opinion at his time and just to make you guys understand something itachi was a Genius Anbu at a early age he master his sharingan too fast not only that if anyone is around the guy just know your in a genjutsu already orchi found out the hard way the point is itachi could have done it if he wanted to that battle was not a battle of ability but more of a battle of pushing his brotherto his limit to get the course seal out

He could extinguish them probably which we saw in the fight against Sasuke... And with Amateresu practice I'm sure he would have been able to, but let's face it... Amateresu wasn't his favorite, he was more of a Genjutsu user.

Right now the only arguments toward itachi being able to use it is he implemented it in Sasuke (I personnally think like someone said that he only implemented the Tobi trap). Which by the way makes me wonder... If Itachi really did gave sasuke his Amateresu abilities... then why didn't he started the amateresu manipulation sooner? Like against Killer Bee.
Or Itachi is so much better than Sasuke of course he could... (He was better, but facts proove he wasn't as good in the mastery of Amateresu as Sasuke was before he was forgotten in the manga)
Or Itachi was a bad ass omg Anbu chief at 13 (Yes he was but that does mean he could manipulate Amateresu)
Or He completely mastered his MS abilities (We can't say that, he mastered Tsukoyomi, not Amateresu, not in what we've read!)

None of this is very convincing... I am an Itachi fan (not my favorite but quite up there really) but I must admit, just because I'm his fan I can't just say he could do anything... He was bad ass enough as it was no need to give him more credit.

has "C" ever fought Itachi to assume that Sasuke was more skilled at using Amaterasu? C fell for Sasuke Tsukiyomi and he is supposedly a skilled genjutsu user.

we haven't seen Itachi ever control Amaterasu but we've only seen him use it twice, never did we see him at full strength though.

EDIT: Madara did say Itachi transferred all 3 MS techniques to Sasuke. I'm not sure about Blaze release.

Maybe Sasuke did have more control over Amaterasu but who knows. I forgot which chapter but I'm sure that someone stated that Itachi had mastered the Mangekyou Sharingan.

And a good one. In this case we simply don't know Itachi well enough so we can only make suppositions. So I am going to say that he couldn't because I simply believe what I saw, but you would be equally right to think that he could control it. The only point I am making is there is no such proof of that.

But you can just as easily turn my argument against me! We have no proof that he couldn't! I guess this thread is all about what people "fantasize".

Sasuke was the first to manipulate the black flames so it's believed that he is better at it than Itachi. But, I don't think we've really seen Itachi's true powers yet. I hope we do when we see him fight in the fourth great ninja war.

Ok, so no real proof he could or couldn't since the guy who wondered if sasuke had surpassed itachi we don't even know if he'd seen itachi before. But he was able to put it out at the very least even if he didn't shape it in his last fight he knew how to put it out so he must have played with amatsaru a few times before who knows what his full MS could do.

how did blaze release suddenly become the ability to shape the black flames? wouldn't the black flames themselves be the enton? I mean just shaping lightning doesn't make it something new, and I'm not sure where this came from because the only mention of it in the manga is him saying he defended with an enton, I don't remember him saying it to refer to the ability to manipulate it. That would just be kind of weird, unless you just want to call blaze release a jutsu and not a nature element/formation, etc.
