Might guy didn't beat the tar out of Kisame ... he beat the crap out of a clone of Kisame's that was using 30 % of his chakra... The clones weren't even using Samehada properley and we all know what lil Samehada is capable of doing... It's overkill Neji dosen't stand a chance!
Read this and the next 2 pages:

How is that NOT beating the crap out of kisame? I was'nt talking about the 30% fight........Neji's eyes can see chakra flow, they would pick up what kisame's tech's are doing, and he can use long range attacks like the air wall palm......though, i admit neji would need speed to dodge kisame, but that's about it.

Neji's fighting style is the signature style of his clan, the Gentle Fist, which takes advantage of the Byakugan's insight into people's chakra pathway system. Gentle Fist allows for severe internal trauma with minimal external force as it relies on surgical injection of chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. As Neji's Byakugan is stronger than most, and is able to see special nodes on the chakra network, called tenketsu, Neji can use Gentle Fist to not only damage opponents, but control their chakra flow as well. Using the Gentle Fist, Neji can affect internal organs, and is capable of killing an opponent with a single strike should he aim to harm the heart. In Naruto: Shippūden the Movie, Neji was able to incapacitate a person with a mere tap to the forehead. Training in the Gentle Fist style implies superior chakra regulatory control and mastery of the human chakra network. As a result, Neji can eject chakra from any tenketsu in his body as a means to slow or impede incoming projectiles. He can also release himself from chakra-based substances using this technique. Continuously maintaining this expulsion of chakra allows Neji create a sensory barrier around himself to detect anything that enters his immediate area, although it rapidly depletes chakra reserves as seen when this tactic was employed against Kidōmaru.

As a member of the Hyūga clan, Neji specializes in close-range, taijutsu combat. In battle, Neji has shown tremendous agility and dexterity, capable of simultaneously dodging and striking an opponent with no wasted movement. His attacks are fast and fluid, striking in rapid succession to leave very little time for his opponent to find an opening to counter, but also deliberate.

As a member of the Hyūga clan's branch house, Neji is forbidden to learn the clan's secret techniques, but managed to deduce their workings simply through observation. He has learned many of the clan's techniques, such as Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin and Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Since mastering these techniques, Neji has begun to refine and strengthen them for more specialized needs. In Part II he has learned the Eight Trigrams Empty Palm, a more focused version of the Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, with which he can expel chakra from his palm to attack opponents out of his physical reach. In the anime, he was able to increase the number of strikes in Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms by doubling it. He can also collaborate with Hinata, using Eight Trigrams Empty Wall Palm.

VS.

Kisame was a powerful swordsman, and savoured the use of brute strength and melee fighting over any technique. Before killing his master, Kisame was wielding a normal katana, which he was proficient enough to kill all of his comrades with. Kisame's signature weapon is called Samehada, a sentient, scale-covered sword, that shaves flesh instead of cutting it. Samehada is also capable of detecting and absorbing chakra, but requires Kisame's own chakra to perform the latter. When Samehada absorbs chakra, its scales grow and it slowly begins to unwrap itself.
Kisame could heal and replenish his chakra by momentarily fusing with Samehada. He could also fuse all the way to further increase his power along with adding to his shark-like appearance. When fused with Samehada, he gains the ability to breathe underwater using gills. While using his Water Prison Shark Dance Technique, he could take full advantage of that ability by drowning his opponents. In this form he can sense other peoples' chakra, and absorb it just by touching the foe with any part of his body. He can also hide within Samehada, which he states is flawless as he and Samehada have almost identical chakra, that not even sensors can tell where he is.

Only Kisame was able to wield Samehada; if anyone besides him tries to pick it up, spikes protrude from its handle, and it returns to Kisame's side. Samehada's loyalty seems to be only because it likes Kisame's chakra. If it finds a ninja with better chakra, it may turn to that ninja's side, demonstrated when Samehada protected Killer Bee from Kisame's attempt to slash off his legs. Despite its wavering loyalty, Kisame was capable of wielding Samehada against its will.

It was stated by Suigetsu that, if he killed Kisame, he would be able to wield the Samehada, which is how Kisame earned Samehada, by killing the former master. Chōjūrō describes the Samehada as the most terrifying sword of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

Unlike his partner Itachi, Kisame prefered direct physical combat, with which he has repeatedly been shown to be very proficient and dangerous. Generally while fighting, he combines strong taijutsu strikes with powerful slashes from Samehada. He has been seen displaying astonishing raw speed and immense physical strength, making it highly difficult for his opponents to directly overpower him, as shown from overpowering Might Guy, a powerful taijutsu master, during their battle. He also managed to overpower another skilled melee-weapon user, Asuma Sarutobi, by using only the tip of Samehada (wielded with one hand), against Asuma's two blades, which he held overhead using his body as extra support. Kisame managed to survive a usually one-hit instant kill technique from Guy, and retained enough strength to break free of Yamato's chakra-enforced wood restrains, showing not just powerful raw strength, but also great endurance.
Kisame had an unusually large amount of chakra, even by Akatsuki standards. Karin, upon sensing Kisame, stated she had never seen so much chakra in one place. Even when he fought at 30% power in one instance, Neji compared his chakra supply to that of Naruto. Chōjūrō claims that Kisame is a "Tailed Beast without a Tail" due to his inhuman chakra level and combination with Samehada.

Even without Samehada, Kisame has been shown to absorb chakra while he is in a water source. Aoba Yamashiro discovered it when he used his Secret Technique Stone Needles in an attempt to paralyze Kisame, who instead just sucked the chakra through the threads and exhausted him. He can even steal chakra from Samehada by simply grabbing onto it.

Kisame's shark-like attributes carry over into his battles, for he even shapes his Water Release attacks into sharks. He is also able to alter the entire battlefield by using his Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave, to create a lake's worth of water to give him the field advantage, and to use for attacks. Against stronger opponents, he increases his field advantage even further by creating a giant dome of water around himself, forcing his opponents to battle him underwater. He was able to make many sharks that overwhelmed Might Guy's Morning Peacock, producing more than all the blows Guy could unleash. Using Earth element, Kisame can use Earth Release: Underground Submarine Voyage to travel under the earth, with the tip of his sword, Samehada, jutting out making him look like a shark swimming towards his prey.

In keeping with his shark theme, Kisame had shown the ability to summon sharks for both battle and message sending purposes, and can combine the one summoned shark with the Water Release: A Thousand Feeding Sharks as a way to conceal the messenger to let it get away.

Kisame Duuuh.

Wow.......congratulations for making an encyclopedia on both characters, brilliant job.

.........however, not ALL the data given is entirely accurate, e.g kisame did not overpower might guy in their fight, and even though the morning peacock was ineffective, the technique following it was. Furthermore, your last 2 words are not justified as what you have done is give an individual analysis of each opponent( quoted from...?) and NOT assess the relative strengths and weaknesses. As an example, an earth style ninjutsu of such staggering magnitude that it is capable in essence of encompassing an entire city and subjugating anyone within its considerable attack radius( let's assume earth style deep forest creation as a rudimentary example) is still USELESS against a lightning style attack, even if the latter is less than half the intensity of the former. Great job nonetheless, though the conclusion is not justified.

1. no i did not prove your point because Naruto and Sasuke are the exceptions!!! Rank does matter alot!!

2. If you want to be technical it was Lady Chiyo, Sakura and her movements being aided by Chiyo (not all her movements were controlled), Chiyos father and mother puppets, and her 10 other puppets vs Sasori, his Kazekage puppet and another 100 puppets he owned!!! i think Chiyo and Sakura were very out numbered

3. no it wasnt bs. why would you say that? how was it bs? they were up agaisnt ninjas that couldnt die but they had very valuable intel on all of them! whats so bs?

4. whats your point?

5. again whats your point?!

6. well idk what to say to you. you should take that up with Kishi. do you want the main character to be a failure and a loser? anyways it still stands that Naruto won when the odds were agaisnt him and thats fact bs or not.

7. planned or not it still stands that he won even though he was not as powerful and had odds agaisnt him.

chiyo and sakura vs sasori your right sasori had way more puppets agaisnt them and that proves my point that the odds were stacked agaisnt chiyo and sakura. your right about the 3rd one too.

it was ambush squad vs ambush squad and Madara's squad were unkillable which also stacked the odds agaisnt Kankuro, Omoi, Sai and the rest of their squad. that again proves my point. and the last one was shikumaru, choji, ino, kakashi vs hidan and kakuza.

oh dont forget that kakuza had 3 hearts that had their own special effinites and moved on their own that also fought. so thats 4 (shikumaru's team) agaisnt 5. hmm not really fair for shikumaru's team and the odds were again agaisnt them but they won and that proves my point once again!!

you left out that Naruto had to fight 6 Pains at once. again proves my point despite you think its bs cuz Naruto's the main character.

8. really what is your point?!?!

9. Gentle Fist requires very little chakra. small amounts of chakra is at the fingertips and flow through the opponets body to severe chakra points. and Kisame is nothing without his chakra and sword!! Neji hits Kisame in the right spots. Kisame cant form jutsu or even control his chakra cuz his main points are damaged! Neji and Kisame both have no chakra and Kisame gets owned in a one on one taijutsu match. "facts are facts like it or not "
ok dude play dumb if u want but u no what it is

His point is, kisame is the super-counter of anyone who relies on chakra to fight
thank-you

kisame would win because neji's rotation defense would be useless against samhada because it would just absorb all the chakra your telling me neji is gonna survive trying to dodge all kisame's attacks. I don't think so.

also the reason guy owns kisame is because guy doesn't use chakra and he is actually faster than kisame not to mention he has to open a shit load of gates.

neji is a jounin now and i don't think he is still at the same level he was before. he would have much skills and jutsus under his sleeves and would no doubt be a match for kisame

if you think about it without the favortism its a guy who has massive chakra and can absorbs their opponents chakra vs a guy whos a master at chakra control and can destroy the chakra flow within their opponent.

once again:

lots of chakra+steals chakra vs chakra control+destroy chakra flow

its like fire vs water. if theres more fire the water evaporates but if theres more water the fire is extinguished..

anyways i still stand Neji would give Kisame a good match maybe even win

can Neji beat Kisame eith the samahada
The natural enemy of the Hyugas,is everyone individual that has asspeciality either teijutsu or kenjutsu.

However Kisame is not only a great user of water release, and thus in chakra control as we have saw,but also an A+ class swordman, and that's why he used to be in Seven Swordmen of the Mist and he killed the previous owner of Samehada that also was in Seven Swordmen of the Mist.

Alo we have to consider their experience in battles.
Of course Kisame as a "veteran" he is much more experienced and know ways in order to deffend himself from such harmful techniques as those that the Hyugas perform.

All in all I think that Kisame would be the winner.

I hate thos who will win threads...it doesnt matter...we will never see them fighting and this is the wrong section...go to naruto discusion section and save this section from your craps...
Then don't post here.I know that is kinda stupid, however there are some members taht they are not intersted in RP and so they are acive in the Naruto Disc./Manga etc. sections.

Respect them even in this.It doesn't matter, they just want to share their opinions and also hear the opinions that other members have

Always friendly PoD
