Fair enough, but summoning a boss takes KAGE LEVEL chakra. That's a lot. And the ghost-dragon thingie is part of the extracting technique that the Akatsuki use on jinchuuriki; it's connected to the Gedo Maizo. And now that I mention it, I don't really know if they can even USE the bijuu inside of the Gedo Maizo.Good points there, but your fogetting alot more for each side. Each village has attributes, strengths and weaknesses, but if you think of it, just because most of the Akatsuki members are back doesn't mean the Aliance is in grave danger. You go from members who died to even Sakura back before Naruto learned Sage techniques to characters such as Naruto who have controlled the power of the Kyubi. I'm sure most Konoha ninjas advanced in strength greatly while these Akatsuki members were dead. The only members I find who might be troublesome is Asuma, Itachi, the Kages, Madara, Sasuke, Kabuto and Dan.
There's also the summonings. The Aliance has like what, 70k soldiers/ninjas ready for war? I'm sure atleast 1/10th can summon beasts, and the toads such as Gamabunta were able to even take on the 1-tailed beast for a short time. With hundreds to thousands of summonings and all the ninjas with capabilities to perform seals upon the tailed-beasts will give the Aliance a huge helping hand. Not to mention Bee and Naruto possess the two most powerful tailed beasts and the fact that Garra still possess the powers of his tailed beast even though it's gone. Infact, Gaara might be the Commanding General due to this fact. His ultimate defence is what might be a key defence to the tailed beasts.
If anything, if I were any one of those members on the Aliance, I wouldn't be fearing Madara or Sasuke, I'd be terrified of Gedo Mazo. It can kill you with that ghost dragon thing if it touches you. That thing going through a crowd of ninjas will take them all out.
Also, Madara does have a reason. He doesn't want to lose this war. He wants to take over as fast as possible, so I think Madara's weakness will be him rushing.
And Madara is old. People mentally measure time in comparison to thier lifespan; to Madara this war will pass a lot faster then to the other shinobi. Old people with large amounts of expirience tend to be stubborn, set in their ways, and patient. Sometimes so patient that they let the enemy have the upper hand because they wait too long for "exactly the right moment"
Now I'm jsut making generalizations.
And as for the villages' strengths and weaknesses, I really don't know enough to go around generalizing each village, so I didn't do that. *shrugs*
