How come Laxus aint one of the 10 wizard saints ???(he seems powerful enough)...

I was going to ask about Gildartz but we dunno if he's already one of them or not...(we know nothing about him except that he's very powerful)

Meh, Laxus aint that powerful, he gets beat in the current arc by natsu but could of lost to mystogan before the final fight.
Without the portion of lightning from the dragon of the coresponding element. Laxus is pretty weak by just himself

agreed with ^^^ luxus was a fake slayer natsu showed that original slayers trump artificial ones and im sure that any guild leader would have smashed luxus....he just appeared super powerful to show how much natsu has developed

Not really Natsu got his ass saved several times during the fight by others and we dont know that because they were on the same level when they fought and that was without the dragon scales...

Its a part of him now just like the kyuubi is a part of Naruto's power.

Guys you need to re-read the manga...Natsu got his ass saved many times(twice by gajeel when Laxus was dilivering the final blow)

Laxus is of the same lvl as Erza and she isn't one either. Though both could have the potential of being one, but compare to the ones we know like Makarov, they're uber-powerful =/

Even though Laxus is strong, people of his calibre aren't that much of a rarity.

Well i think that he's stronger than Erza because i remember Gajeel describing him as a monster and he said that i dunno what would've happened if he was there during the phantom battle....

That's not even a reason to assume Laxus is stronger than Erza =/ "because Gajeel called him a monster"

They are both S-rank and Gajeel has never fought or has seen Erza fighting from close-up. Besides both Gray and Natsu called Erza a monster a dozen times ~_~

Thats the same as Naruto calling Sakura a monster or scary...but that doesnt mean that Sakura is strong(its the type of thing that happens in most animes) but when Gajeel said it he was serious...

He was playing with her and not all the wizard saints are on the same power level for example master Makarov took out master Jose in 1 move so he might've been the weakest of the 10 wizard saints not to mention the other guy thats in the same guild as Lyon...he's one of the 10 wizard saints too and he didint seem so powerful...

jose was very strong ...i don't remember who attacked him , but he survived a diedly attack when he was saving the group

and i think the 10 wizard saints follows the council's order...and i don't think laxus is gonna accept any orders from others...

is there any council member who are from 10 wizard saints..?

I dont deny that he was strong in fact thats what i meant in my previous comment...but i was asking him why he was chosen to be one of 10 the wizard saints if being very strong isnt one of the requirments of becoming one...

That wouldnt make sense because he only gained enough power to defeat Gerard by eating the lacryma and it was only temporarily....In other words its not Natsu's current power its just something that he gained by eating something(just like steroids)...
